Last year didn't manage to build PC cause PMR tsk tsk. So need new recommendation please whistling.gif rclxms.gif

Preferably a 1150 board. Not into Oc'ing. Preferably want to get "GTX 750" if anyone can "guess" what's the pricing gonna be for it.

Games played are Minecraft, Skyrim, TF2, LoL, and maybe Titanfall or GTA V [if it's coming to PC]

Budget RM 1,600 can push RM 100 more I suppose. Don't need ultra high settings just a medium > high setting good enough for my eyes. Playing on 720p.

Re-usable parts are Case,Monitor, KB & Mouse. OS on a different story. Should I get Windows 7 or go Windows 8? How's the pricing for it? Tis all thanks for your help notworthy.gif

Thanks for the pricing. I was thinking to use SteamOS first before getting Windows 7. If minus the OS and get let's say a Palit 750 Ti ~. I heard that the Palit 750 Ti StormX Dual is RM 599. Can estimate how much will a normal or reference 750 Ti gonna cost? hmm.gif

May i know whether i need to format my pc or not after i've changed my motherboard and cpu ?

thank you so much  smile.gif  smile.gif  smile.gif
*
In a way yes, but only format the hdd that has the OS on it. If your OS in HDD C:// then just format the C only and the other are safe.

can i change gpu to GeForce GTX 770?

how about the price?
*
Zotac GTX 770 is RM 1200 @Gbros icon_idea.gif But 760 is good enough to play most latest tittle at 30+ fps on 1080p. If done the tweaking enough can get above 60+. If you're buying from Penang I recommend check Hikari85 profile. She's from penang and got good stuff to buy thumbup.gif

Hi guys i need a rig that can play games at max setting for the next few years, need your suggestions?

[Budget] I will not give your a max budget even though i don't have a lot of money bcs i don't want to end up with a rig that can't give me a enjoyable gaming experience. I don't want anything fancy just want it to do it's job well.

[Purpose] Hardcore gaming.

[Games & softwares that use frequently] Any latest games

[Location]Penang
*
Bro/Sis, no budget can't determine what kind of specs. If you want a RM 1500 rig without OS can der.

Proc - Intel Core i3-4130 - RM 369
Mobo - Asrock H81M-DGS - RM 179
GPU - GTX 750 Palit StormX Dual OC - RM 440
HDD - WD 1TB Blue - RM 199
PSU - FSP Hexa 500 Watt - RM 150
RAM - Corsair Value RAM 4GB - RM 129
Case - CM Lan Case - RM 85

All for RM 1,551.
Take note that OS might cost around RM 270 ish +++
This can play most game on High on 720p or Medium-Low on 1080p
PS - GPU and PSU from GBros.
PSS - Others are from Idealtech.

This is not a 'hardcore gaming' setup imo..hardcore gaming means hardcore money also.. sweat.gif

JustcallmeLarry need at least provide a budget for it..
*
Yea I know that's not "Hardcore" but he isn't stating any budget so I'll just list down a cheap build that can easily play most game on a medium > low setting whistling.gif

QUOTE(JustcallmeLarry @ Mar 14 2014, 10:03 PM)
Ok my budget is RM2k. But if RM2k is going to get me a rig where i cannot play latest games at high setting i am not going to buy it. So what i am trying to say is i need a rig that can play latest games at high setting at a cheap price. If it's not possible then hope you guys can tell me straight so i wont be wasting my money bcs i am a IT noob. Just the rig, monitor & everything else have already.
*
2k ah? Hmmm,

Proc - Intel Core i3-4130 - RM 369
Mobo - Asrock H81M-DGS - RM 179
GPU - GTX 760 Leadtek/Palit - RM 799
HDD - WD 1TB Blue - RM 199
PSU - FSP Hexa 500 Watt - RM 150
RAM - Corsair Value RAM 8GB - RM 239
Case - CM Lan Case - RM 85

Bro, this rig setting also must be medium>low??? Or can whack high straight?
*
I've changed the GPU. The 760 is still one of the best GPU that can play games on high setting on 40+ fps at 1080p. Crysis 3 on medium settings [ Reminder that Crysis 3 medium setting already look stunning as hell and it can go to 45+- fps ] and all of those latest games at high. With tone down AA if you don't mind sweat.gif
