Anybody know where can I get Countdown Timer Switch in Klang Valley or Ipoh?

It should looks like the pictures below:

The issue is that I'd like my bathroom ventilating fan to keep on running for some time (say 20~30 minutes) after I leave the bathroom. This is rather popular in western countries but seldom seen here.

I found it in eBay but prefer to get it from local store

Thanks for suggestion. But I'm afraid it is not that suitable for me.
I'm looking into something simple, not so expensive and more maintainable (easy to do DIY change when spoil)

Spent 2 hours in Jalan Pasar, asking around at least 25 electronic component shops.

No luck! Seems like these things do not exist in this part of the world!

There are 2 shops in Jalan Pasar carry Schneider's switches. But they don't sell the countdown timer switch that I want. I've also searched the Schneider website, but did not notice anything that match. Perhaps you can post the link if you have.

The T&J site also does not list any timer switch. They only have dimmer.

This is probably TS cannot find the 240v spec switch in the 120v US shopping mall.

Indeed this is not a really idea time delay switch. You have to use a switch and together this timer. So switch ON and rotate the timer. Probably after a while for lazy people, don't bother to turn it.

Just push the button and the timer will run together. The time delay is adjustable which you fix the minute at the behind switch. If you fix it at 2min, everytime you switch it on, it will run 2min delay than off.

But when I think back, there is 1 point of bad about this timer.

We go into the toilet but we don't no how long would be in the toilet. Shit half way and the time up! If we set it too long like 30min or more, that is waste of power.

The best is when go in, switch on but not the timer. Than finish our business, switch it off. Than the delay timer start to run.

my suggestion is for you to get a motion sensor, which is very common.
turn on when anyone goes in and you can set the non-motion delay time inside.

Motion sensor won't work for me. I want the ventilating fan to run for another 20~30 minutes after I leave the bathroom. The purpose is to suck out all the moisture after bath. This will prevent mold problem.

The PIR do have a setting timer till max 120min. After you leave the bathroom, the timer will delay till preset time before off it.

ozak, thanks for this. yes, this is truly something useful here which otherwise have to leave ventilator fan in the bathroom on for very long esp when bathing before 'zzzz'. The touch timer looks good. Mould growth is inhibited to a large extent as long as the air circulates out to the open.

The only ventilator fans with timer (pre-set up to 1hour) that I've seen are those Thermo type which can ventilate out (moisture laden air) or circulate heated air internally and at same time vent out (air exchange). These are only found in colder countries.

How about open up the window after bath? Let the natural air dry it. Will it work?

Just thinking some power saving way.

Yup, just leave the windows open much better option.
