QUOTE(K5WHITE @ Nov 20 2013, 11:20 AM) no, this is not systematic problem, as i mentioned before, he alrdy admit that he fake the number plate. N promised to me that he will change it back to his actual plate it is, consider that the system in Malaysia allows me to fake any plate i want because it only needs RM20 to make a plastic plate. there is no restriction to it. in this case its great he admits his fault, but lets say i dont, and you saw me on the road, you dont know my address.there is no system in place to stop this |

QUOTE(K5WHITE @ Nov 20 2013, 09:50 AM) thought i would be easier to report to police station, coz JPJ not near and definitely not customer friendly. And i bet if i go JPJ, "report kat police station" is the first response i will get since u have made police report, cant u jz show to the jpj n report to them? |

But i suppose the responsibilities shud be on the enforcer to catch those that fake number plate. Not us public to endure extra cost or hassle in replacing damaged plates or anything like that personal safety and safety of the people are both public and enforcers responsibilities not only theirs. in this case removing the idea that someone can randomly create plates is the key to ensuring that someone doesnt fake your plate. consider this, if i fake your plate all i have to do is go to my nearby shop ask for random numbers and wallah, what can you do to catch me? nothing.would it be efficient to ask enforcement officers to go around each neighborhood to find 1 faked number plate? no. you would never know i faked it, untill i do something bad about it which is too late. but consider that now faking plates need to go though the black market instead of just the shop around the corner. do you think it would be safer for u? |
