Kinda sad. Regret accept the offer because this is management job, not technical job.

Regarding your problem, you need to calculate like this. Else you consider "Rugi"
1 month = RM2000+RM1700 = RM3700
1 year = (RM3700 x 12) + bonus if got.(example RM2000) = RM46400
Average 1 month salary you got is RM46400/12 = RM3866.

So to jump, you can demand 20% that is RM3866x1.2 = RM4640.
Reason is : We calcute income base on TOTAL INCOME PER YEAR, not per month.. No meaning if basic you got is hight, but total income per year sikit.

Real example from me.
Basic RM3632. No allowance. But BONUS 4 month average. when i jump here is what i request.
(RM3632 x12)+Bonus (RM3632x4) = RM58112
Average per month = RM4842. (so if i jump, my next salary must be more RM4842. elso no need to jump)
What i get was RM4900 + 200 allowance..(jump to A company March 2014, Jun 2014 i jump to B company with basic RM6000). Same formula i use event just move to new company for 2 month, and they willing to pay RM6k base on fact.

I put reason A company give 1 month bonus.
((RM4900+200)x13)/12 = RM5633 average per month.
Jump RM5633x1.2=RM6760 (but B company give 6k since i just 2 month jump from A company)

already know what they will ask and how to counter.. but before that make sure your experience is really good and have good qualification..

3 years is not a short time.
Since Perak is quite a hard place to find jobs, I have got some commitments here in Perak therefore going to KL is not my 1st choice 
I know KL there is plenty of opportunities.
