Engineers in O&G industry scale of salary is always the highest among the rest of engineer in other industries
*
Yup, but it's difficult to get the 1k increment per year.
Then you need to jump again and again to get this figure.

My advise for fresh grad, gain your experience first then the money will come.
My first job after grad only 2.4k.

Aug 2010 – RM2.4k (Contract)
Aug 2011 – RM2.8k (Contract convert to permanent)
Jan 2012 – RM3200 (Increment)
Jun 2012 – RM4000 (Jump company)
Jan 2013 - RM4416 (Increment)
Jan 2014 – RM5218 (Increment & Promotion)
Apr 2015 - VSS
May 2015 (Current Company) – RM5.5k basic (13 months, bonus, petrol card, car allowance, phone allowance)
Jun 2015 – Just got another offer yesterday for RM6.8k (Contract), still in dilemma want to accept the offer or not

Believe in me, money will come with your experience.
With experience, you can demand with your potential employer.

Jaunuary 2014 - RM2.55 (Increment)
January 2015 - RM3.5 (Promotion & Increment)

You can proceed with the interview while doing/collecting your PDP points. Once u pass your interview then only the PDP comes into picture.
*
Oh really, i though need to completed the PDP points then can submit the application.

You must either pass the PAE interview or IEM interview first b4 u can apply to be a PE from BEM.
*
Correct, i know that.
So mean, the PDP only applicable for BEM PE Application. For IEM PI application, only experience importance.
If like that, i can finish my exp & design report and submit. rclxms.gif

Yes, you can proceed with exp & design report. That also will take a few months. During that time u can slowly accumulate more PDP. Mine from submission till interview took more than 6 months.... sweat.gif

Thanks jitshiong for the explanation and sharing, really appreciate that. thumbup.gif thumbup.gif
