QUOTE(ju146 @ Jul 16 2015, 04:09 PM) You are very underpaid. Converting it to RM will make you feel better Fresh grad in Singapore can get higher than your current salary. Yup, agree. But convert to RM will not make me feel better too, as i was working and staying at Singapore, so hardly convert money to RM and use at Malaysia. Seriously, i work in Singapore not because those currency rate, as you said i was underpaid, but i found working in Singapore got better career path, very first, they will differentiate you with singaporean so their salary offer is double standard, but when you prove you are capable person, they will treat you fair enough

QUOTE(ju146 @ Jul 16 2015, 04:36 PM) I worked in Singapore for the past 3 years. Technical is not much appreciated there since most of the tech people are cost center, and Singapore is relatively expensive due to currency. I would agree with you that Singapore has better career if we are talking on consulting, but not for technical especially helpdesk thingy. IMO, you will be rewarded as long as you can perform, not restrictive to Singapore only Yup, agree. Most of my previous working experience are related about technical and yes, singapore no appreaciate tech people, hence my current jobs was related about Infrastructure and management and get myself to involve in more IT project. The environment is very challenging and competitive.
