Hi guys, im a fresh graduate and just started off in a power MNC. Just want to ask some opinions on this job and some advises on how should I plan on my working path.
This is because I'm having a mixed feelings looking at how much others are earning monthly/annually.

Personally, I would say I am on the slightly below average side because all of my friends (27-28 year-old) are earning at a minimum of RM4k BAISC as an engineer ( non sales, non oil and gas sector).

Really cant comment on the close to 2 years of experience is worth how much .

The above salary is before tax deduction and epf.
Work hours are long. Many weekends are spent on the job.
"replacement offdays" are forfeited at the end of the year. I lost 10 weekends worth of replacement leave in 2014.
Oilfield is in a bad place at the moment, due to oil price. Thus no promotion in near future.

I have something to ask here. Im employed under a SME last year in Oct before i actually graduated and im expecting to be graduating in June. My department is going through a tough time at the moment and the GM decided to cut down the ppl in the department and my work is getting less and less. I don't think i'm learning anything more in the department now. So, I'm actually considering to leave the company after my result is out. Im taking 2.5k at the moment. If i switch to another job, how much salary should i expect? With a 1/2 working experience . Can anyone share their valuable opinion with me?
