For me I would. It's good to let your employer know that you are currently pursuing something higher. But make sure you put status as ON-GOING

under product manufacturing..mine if fresh grad will get around 3.3k include allowance...but the increment is very low
my boss..already more than 12 years work...position agm..but salary around 7k only..

Correct. My friend juz complete interview there n they agree with his expected salary which i think quite high..more than 1.8k from his current salry..

For others europe / american company not sure..mayb need more feedback from other members here..

Nop...i did went interiew at sony...got offer but i reject as the offer is not good...n actually i didnt apply the job..they get my resume through jobstreet n contact me..but i think the company is quite good but too bad..japanese comp. difficult to compete with those china/korean brand nowadays..
