Money should not be ur priority in ur early years of careee development. Potential to earn big money 5 or 10 years down the road is.

So, ur primary focus should be whether there are ample room to grow in ur current role... and meanwhile try to study more, not just technical, but more importantly soft skills and build up a tough resilient mindset.

Almost near to zero for grow after I join. A step higher = manager. The manager is there for about 10 years. So if want to grow, need to do Job hop like some seniors do.

Increase in job grading is not actually "growth". It is just the eventual outcome of u outgrowing urself consistently.

The true meaning of growth is whether u can gain more experience, whether u're given chance to involve in more important projects, whether ur roles are expanding, whether u're being entrusted to do things on your own, whether ur suggestions are being listened and considered seriously, whether u've a supervisor who are willing to pass down his/her knowledge etc etc... In short, whether u can gain valuable skills to polish ur CV and make other employers willing to offer big money for your services.

If you are being blessed with most of the things above, chances are your supervisor will fight for ur promotion and increment and replacing a good staff is more costly than retaining... Even if you don't get the pay increase, you will have a great profile and other companies will surely want to poach you over especially if you are underpaid (provided u know how to present ur value effectively in ur CV and interviews).
