Hye brothers,

I want to ask all the brothers opinion,if you guys got offered a job at public listed company as assistant network engineer but the salary is rm3500 and another offer is Network Engineer a small company and salary is RM 3200 which one you guys prefer?position or salary?i only have 1 year experience
*
If your in KL, distance also plays a factor you know .. What are the benefits ? Define small company ? They maybe small, but they might be worth hundreds of millions ...

The salary posted here is unbelievable high. Is this real?? I have worked in 3 MNCs but yet the salary as I know off is not as high as what forumers posted.

This either could mean that I have been duped for so long or it is simply that people are boosting here?
*
Because only the people with nice to show salary are posting up smile.gif which consist of less then even 0.0001% of our population.

Depending on the industry, company and your capability bro biggrin.gif I would say 3.4k++ is average, but Ive seen higher and lower also with more years then you.

i think rather i stay for a while at there because i already accept the offer rclxub.gif

Yes you do stay awhile, but on the look out for better stuff. It would be too late and unwise to wait 1-2 years ONLY start to look for new prospects.

I agree.. i willing to leave my current company (bank in malaysia) to work at MNC company just because their benefit is working from home. For me time with family is more expensive than money.. my income per year is RM67600 and i 26 years old..have 1 baby and 1 wife now..hehe
*
Even for MNC, working at home is not practised much in Msia unless your doing freelancing. Yahoo last year banned working at home concept tongue.gif

+1

Company being cheapskate wanted more revenue for their own

Business is business smile.gif Who doest want more $$ if they can get it ? Even Mondragon who brags that their maximum ratio of wage is 1:9 is bullshit !

ytle2010: Its because only the those want to share and brag on their successful stories and careers smile.gif and besides, most of the high wage you see here are from OnG. Go do your own market research with HR's or head hunters in different companies and industry and you get real numbers as an average.

And thus that is why fresh grads and all employer out there need to thinks business is business and stop talking gibberish
*
Id agree with fresh grads tongue.gif
But from an employer stand point, the employer holds the power to hire. Hence if one is not happy about the package, they are always free to leave or not take up the offer. In fact, employers if cooperate, they can even control the salary rates in saturated markets. Thats how Graphic Designers fresh grads are paid peanuts. rclxub.gif

Degree is nothing these days. I am sure I will hire people with more than 5 yrs diff exp than someone less than 5yrs exp with degree. I got many bizplan from people proud of they are drop out from uni to pursue their passion
*
In the Corporate World, you go through a department called HR which will use a degree as a filter.
Unless 1 is able to get in touch with the upper management, a degree is a passport to obtain a job, besides attitude and skill set.

are you a freshie or someone with experience? If you're a freshie, you'll likely only get around 3+k per month.
