I was previously with Caltex. Basically, all the base product (Petrol & Diesel) in Malaysia was purchased from Singapore. Shell, BHP and Petron do purchased a lot of base product from Caltex and there only different is only on the additive injected. For Caltex Petrol additive, it is indeed more corrosive than others as I am having additive from different brands in my previous workplace. I believed it can better clean engine.
