thank you all for the comments, indeed 808 is quite outdated, thus required some photoshop to match up the market top of the line smartphones (808 seriously lacking dynamic range with f/2.4, macro range, real time image processing effects, etc)
808 & 1020 will not be forgotten in mobilephotography history, and yet remains one of the phone manufacturer that brings in large image sensors & zeiss certified lens, currently Panasonic DMC CM1 is the king to that, 1" image sensor size equivalent to SONY RX100 series, plus Leica certified lens. Nt sure how both s7 & G5 stack up to be the best, but both are seriously well equipped to be the best in mobilephotography to date, but details are still oversharpens from time to time in JPG (white borders glows around an object, jagged edge while zoom in [improved from previous version], well, they've got RAW option to deal with that lol), but for casual social media sharing, they are perfect^^ Sony's solution to mobile phone image quality are still a mystery to me, some said it was because to avoid direct competition to their own camera range (i dont know lol). But other than that, their performance in camera are still no doubt one of the best out there, fast focus/shutter, good dynamic range) Well, just my 5 cents, for reference only^^ |

QUOTE(am3 @ Apr 14 2016, 04:13 PM) I figure I ask here since you guys know more about camera thsn otgers who only cares of performance. Not much "best" camera phone at this price point, only decent ones. It is even hard to find one with optical image stabilization for night shots with such price range, unless you are looking at 2nd hand....Whats the best phone eith good front and rear camera on budget range? Preferably lower than rm1k. Better if can around rm600 to rm800. If really good i eill topup price |

QUOTE(piscesguy @ Apr 15 2016, 02:21 PM) Care to share your phone model please? TQ ^^QUOTE(am3 @ Apr 15 2016, 12:33 PM) I also red reviews that mi4i camera is better than redmi note 3. People comment usually xiaomi camera are ok for the price but somehow rn3 not that good Redmi series was never in Xiaomi's Flagship portfolio (Xiaomi's Flagship always no memory expansion nor removable battery, from what i recall) , also Xierra777 has pointed out the main reason behind which is the camera sensor by Sony or Samsung (as stated in their website, maybe different batch might get the Samsung sensor, idk) in mi4i. Sensor takes a huge part in mobile imaging quality.I want to get new one. But on limited budget. I'll have to think if I sanggup that price. Unless you are ready pay big bucks, you budget is definitely not enuf to get a "good" cameraphone, the only phone i can think of for such price in 1k mark which is the Lenovo vibe shot, OIS equipped, 16MP, triple LED flash, 32 internal + memory card support...but, to me the image quality was not good enuf, thats why i choose Nokia Lumia 930 over this phone, but definitely a sleek looker PS: Mi4i now is RRP RM899 for 32GB model, u can consider on that too~ This post has been edited by realjazzcoke: Apr 15 2016, 04:16 PM |
