My PC is connected via LAN cable to LAN#1 of MR3420. Windows LAN status shows disconnected (X), but the router shows connected (the LAN#1 light is illuminated). After disconnecting the cable, the LAN#1 light on the router remains lit. I plug it into LAN#2, the PC still shows disconnected, but LAN#2 on the router is lit (LAN#1 remains lit). After disconnecting the cable, the LAN#2 light on the router remains lit. That means LAN#1 & LAN#2 are both lit with cable disconnected. I can repeat the defect with LAN#3 & LAN#4.

Is this a sign of router failure? Restarting the router doesn't fix it.

did you try with another lan cable ?

It's not the cable.
Now, LAN#2 is running fine. LAN#3 & #4 are buggy.  rclxub.gif

Guess the LAN port is the culprit..

Does this router support any 4G/LTE dongle ? for DIGI 4G usage. Does the bandwidth control works ?
*
Yes it does. Make sure you update to latest version firmware if tplink. Yes it does come with QoS.

Do you know which model of 4G usb adapter is compatible with it ?

basically whether is qualcomm or hilink chipset botg support, if u want much more huge support on 4g modem, u can flash it to goldenorb rooter,. http://www.ofmodemsandmen.com/downloadsp.html

This custom rom also have the stock firmware bandwidth control ? I mainly want to limit the downstream of certain ip address to 1mbps. Was thinking to pair it with Huawei E3372 but wasn't sure if it's compatible or not with stock firmware or the rooter firmware that you've suggested.
*
That custom ROM don't have ip QoS like stock ROM.

Stock ROM should support the e3372.

Hi, does anyone know if the router (TL-MR3420) works with Huawei E3372 / E3276 straight out of the box? Thanks...
*
stock tpink firmware wise it is not all version support out of box,. you will need to test..

but if u flash to rooter openwrt custom firmware, it will support the modem you mention for sure
