QUOTE(ZeneticX @ Dec 1 2013, 09:04 PM) pictures from yesterday AVICII @ Sepang, these are some of the better shots i managed to take forgot the settings but all of them are manual mode with ISO range from 400 - 1600, except for the firework pic which i took with firework mode it's very hard to find a suitable setting in a concert when ur near the stage and the lighting keep changing full collection here https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1...=1&l=94e2daf9fethere's also 2 videos i recorded but it will take some time to upload, will post them when its done this one looks great, even at iso1600, it doesn't produce a lot of noise in this pic

QUOTE(speedfamgirl @ Dec 6 2013, 04:34 PM) well i have problem on updating to .257 using OTA..no matter how many times i've tried. previously rooted using vroot the only way i can upgrade is via PC companion i dont want to lose my root, but of course the update is a must. what should i do? maybe you can try kingo root. you are using supersu or superuser? QUOTE(WindChaseR @ Dec 6 2013, 06:26 PM) i know why.. did u remove any system apps? pls restore them.. i have my system app facebook removed and update OTA, it will restart half way and fail.. restore it back.. everything smooth.. i found the solution thru Google one.. Sony OTA update requires all system apps to be in.. i deleted facebook app since day 1, no issues, can root and update

QUOTE(WindChaseR @ Dec 7 2013, 01:25 AM) first thing first.. u cant change to supersu if u dun hv root access yet.. yup, makes sense. my mistake some funny crap i wrote QUOTE(speedfamgirl @ Dec 7 2013, 11:45 AM) but i already have root access. my problem is i cant update via OTA ah, my bad. if you already have root access, can try changing to supersu and try ota. other method, ftf back to 534(rmbr to retain apps and data), root with xda, try ota. as you have plenty of time, can test various means to solve it.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE(Icehart @ Dec 7 2013, 10:16 PM) It took me more than 30 retries to focus on this Christmas tree at Westin Hotel Lobby and still cannot focus accurately. I wonder if Z1 have any know issues on problems focusing at low lights? My colleague using iPhone 5 got it done right at the first attempt. Is there any settings? if you can't focus on higher iso, you might want to change it to iso400 or lower. usually i 'll close the app, remove from the list, and open again. another method is to move around or further away from your subject. edit: another way on improving the focus when having difficulty focusing on iso800 or higher is to change the focus mode to object tracking, average metering.
