No no. The big rom tar.md5 file that you used to flash the rom. Open it with winrar or similar program. Inside have a file called cache. Extract that one only.

You use airdroid better. But if you insist on how to do it, i suggest you go search on how to setup ftp connection

Or you could use bit torrent sync from playstore (easily transfer your file to your pc or tablet and vice versa while you are away from either debice)

ya got use airdroid as well ....

Haha..you using what method to extract the files...?
I found that Root Explorer can only view what inside the .tar.md5 files but cannot extract it. After looking around at Play Store..I found an app that can read/view individual file inside the .tar.md5 and best thing is it can extract that individual files without problem.

The app called ZArchiver.... tongue.gif
Maybe antt00 can add the app link in 1st page at utility app section biggrin.gif

I did have problems with my PC/MAC detecting my Note 3 when it's plugged in... not sure what stuff I froze may have caused this...

Unable to detect..?
Have you install the necessacy driver on your PC..?
But flashing via PC Odin will unroot your phone and will bring new bootloader with the firmware.

For the price u paid for a phone just for it's camera , might as well get a mid level compact . And picture quality wise , Lumia series is good yet i still prefer Pureview 808 picture quality to Lumia 1020 .

Forgot to add , might as well get a Galaxy Zoom since its a camera with build it phone function unlike other models , a phone that is trying to be a compact .
*
ya wanted the G.Zoom but i go tested the function w low-light
and it makes me like shakehead.gif

Note 3 owners get a $50 Google Play credit until January 6th, 2014
http://phandroid.com/2013/11/20/note-3-google-play-credit/

So you’ve bought your Note 3 and want to load it up with awesome games, apps, music, books, and movies, eh? Is some of that content only available by forking over a bit of cash? Good news — you won’t have to dig into your own wallet to pay for them! Samsung has started a promotion that will net any Samsung Galaxy Note 3 owner $50 in Google Play Credit.

Getting free Google Play credit is nothing new, as we’ve seen other devices offer $25 in the past. But $50? That’s a crap ton, and should keep you swell for quite some time. So what do you have to do? Simply head to Samsung’s site for the promotion, enter all the details they ask for (including your device’s IMEI, your email address, phone number and more), and you should be greeted to $50 in your Google Play account almost instantly.

The offer is for both new and existing customers, and will last until January 6th, 2014. You should have plenty of time to get your credit, even if you don’t get your device until Christmas. Go ahead and hit the source link to claim your credit.

and see: http://samsungnote3.prizelogic.com/

however, when i checked the last link, it says... Sorry, we are currently out of Google Play™ Credits.

Not sure if one would need to mess around with some settings like the last time such offer was given to Nexus 7 owners...

hmm. was trying to connect my phone to my PC/Mac to load the firmware onto my internal SD
ended up using AirDroid to transfer.

I installed the necessary drivers on the PC but the MTP USB Driver always fails at installation.
and my phone would not be detected (it charges though)

is there any apk on the phone that affects this?

Already mentioned by some forumers yesterday. It is only valid for US Note 3.
