just updated to MJ7 (XSP) with Mobile ODIN and rooted! thanks guys seems smoother and no more reboot (lag) issues with Wanam! I did have problems with my PC/MAC detecting my Note 3 when it's plugged in... not sure what stuff I froze may have caused this...

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Nov 21 2013, 07:59 AM) Unable to detect..? Have you install the necessacy driver on your PC..? But flashing via PC Odin will unroot your phone and will bring new bootloader with the firmware. hmm. was trying to connect my phone to my PC/Mac to load the firmware onto my internal SD ended up using AirDroid to transfer. I installed the necessary drivers on the PC but the MTP USB Driver always fails at installation. and my phone would not be detected (it charges though) is there any apk on the phone that affects this?

QUOTE(antt00 @ Nov 21 2013, 08:38 AM) What did you freeze/delete on the phone? Try restarting the PC and install the driver again or test with another PC or another cable or another usb port or.... tried all that but didn't work. hmm I vaguely remember sharedstoragebackup.apk (i think it might be this..) and smartcardservice.apk smartcardmanager.apk

QUOTE(antt00 @ Nov 21 2013, 08:43 AM) Evil Well why dun you try to unfreeze and check again. It takes like just a few seconds right. true.. haha but I've successfully rooted liao haha and now it works since it reverted all my settings don't wanna test system again >< just googled sharedstoragebackup.apk seems like it was needed for USB Connection. really gotta be careful with what I freeze and uninstall ><

QUOTE(antt00 @ Nov 21 2013, 08:51 AM) Yes simple freeze unfreeze test would have solved it. And dun freeze stuff you are unfamiliar with. yeap. first android phone ever.. so went a little crazy with all the tweaking... googled and followed whatever people said was safe to freeze (not knowing everyone had a different list T_T) trying to find something (Xposed module) that allows me to tweak what autostarts on reboot though Boot Manager and Receiver Stop do not seem to be as good :/
