So it's down to the manager then. Not slating BR, but has it ever cross your mind that BR is not as good as what people think he is?
If I'm honest enough, the only convincing wins so far are games against WBA and Fulham. Even most of the goals we scored are due to individual brilliance and not team play oriented goals.
Another thing I'm perplexed is, he bought so many new signings from day one, only to find out they are not good enough to play for the team? Whose problem is this? Are BOOKIES from East Sussex manipulating the transfers as well? If they are not ready, whose job is to groom them to become EPL fit?
Someone pointed out, 40MIL on the effing bench FFS.
Completely agree, straight to the heart of the problem. Although its harsh to say it, but ain't our players is all decent, and some are top class. With all these players in a team, and losing to Hull City in such manners is not acceptable at all. Performance from the players and luck is one thing, while the tactic, formation, 1st-team selection, the bench, the substitution problem shall reflect to the managers. Most importantly, our players lack the mentality to challenge for the title and top four, most of the time I can only see them playing for a draw? The mentality and the passion is all goes back to the manager, how can he encourage the players in the dressing room, how does he address each and everyone.
One more problem still haunts me is the lack of wingers, we sold off Downing, and loan out both Assaidi and Suso when we were lacking wingers.
Although BR did a decent job so far, but yesterday match is totally unacceptable. And yea, I don't think BR is as good as people think he is, atleast judging it until now, not sure in the future. I wont call for his head yet, not until the january transfer and the season end.
