I wouldn't expect anything less than 3 points from this match, but a 5-0 scoreline is certainly a bit of a fantasy right now.

Our midfield does indeed need an overhaul. Don't think the label of "BR's Golden Boy" or "Love Child" applies to Allen anymore since he's effectively been dropped from the starting lineup as of this season. In my opinion, none of our current central midfielders deserve to start every game but we aren't spoilt for choice at the moment unfortunately and have to play with the personnel we have until January at least. The question we should ask ourselves until then is "how we can best play them?".

What I'm saying is for player like Sterling, who was given chance to play and prove himself, he must feel he need to show what he capable of so BR will chose

him for the next game. Thus lead to his bad decision making dribble into 2 or 3 defenders while there are other better options, and then losing the ball. Too

many times. I understand as the winger, he should dribble and pass defender, but depends on the situations. Same goes to Allen, too nervous, avoiding doing

any mistake, thus panics when pressured which lead to bad pass or losing possession. When he doesn't do mistake, he just make simple back and side pass.

Proving yourself with no self confidence is totally different. This is only my opinion. By the way, I do agree Coutinho and Gerrard play a big part in yesterday

win.
