i'd advice u get LTE set bcause there seem to be some application missed the compatibility filter in Google Play for the non-LTE although they're listed compatible with the LTE set... i.e Asphalt 8.

is this happens only when your phone is cold?

based on some readings i did last time when similar thing happened to a friend's GNote2, usually if this happens only at certain condition means it's software issue not hardware...the only hardware that can cause such behaviour in certain condition (like cold temp - which my friend's GNote suffers, rectified by changing battery) is the battery not able to provide enough power to the screen. other than that, conditional defect like this is firmware related...remember anything that u did that might have caused it?

well i reverted back to 4.3 after so much issue after flashing to C6833 KK...any C6802 KK FTF those who have gotten it?

first let me make it clear that I'm on unlocked bootloader wih the dual recovery installed. Root is obtained from TWRP dual recovery's SuperSU installer as well.

I used this ftf(STOCK ROM] [FTF] Xperia Z Ultra (C6833) 14.3.A.0.681 "Generic HK") credits to hammdog of XDA

the probs i face were:
1. Camera focus broken.
2. both wifi and data connection terribly slow
3. Random reboot when play game
4. Phone hangs on random occasion
5. SDFix does fix the permission issue on KK but somehow Titanium backup fails midway to write the backup files into my SD. Had to retry for several times to get the backup done before i flash back to 4.3.

those what I faced before i decided to just revert back. there might be more but i experienced the above

do note tht i might be having those issue because i flashed C6833 ROM into my C6802 phone. but maybe some I encountered is a KitKat issue for ZU ROM..idk need to wait for C6802 KK FTF to test out

until this this supports stock KitKat, i'm ok with 4.3 with superb soundsystem. haha

u're welcome anyways, u can wait til it support KitKat since the developer is actively working on it

well it's already a fair warning that upgrading to kitkat indeed change a lot on how apps works, so a factory reset is the most reasonable thing to do before judging something as bug...as for me, I'm still happy with 4.3 since i got moto g to taste 4.4 although it's not too much of sony-skinned

the root method required unlocked bootloader where he will lose the TA partition. he has to be rooted on previous version to backup his TA partition in order to be able to relock the bootloader and obtain all the features lost after unlocking the bootloader...unless if the root method doesn't require the phone bootloader to be unlocked, he can simply root without backup of his TA partition

haha, it wasn't bullsh*t until recent version that sony decided to let those working fine. as for your warranty question, idk since i haven't send mine for any warranty claim and is prepared for the worst when i got my bootloader unlocked
