Wi-Fi only Sony Xperia Z Ultra leaks through AnTuTu and FCC.

So this will be a mini tablet with no phone call functionality?

Those who has updated to 4.4, can you confirm that you can now write onto ext sdcard from inside phone eg
- copying files from internal memory to external sdcard
- deleting files from ext sdcard inside phone
- copying or moving files within external sdcard

Samsung had fix this in their 4.4 upgrade but not HTC as HTC just leaves it as Google default and now making the ext sdcard a handicap !! I have email and posted on HTC facebook several times and HTC just keep quiet and not even reply on this issue
This issue about kitkat treatment on ext SDcard can be found here

i tried 4.4 on z1. should be the same.

using ES file explorer
- copying files from internal memory to external sdcard - failed
- deleting files from ext sdcard inside phone - at first it can delete. but when i open file commander, the "deleted" file still there
- copying or moving files within external sdcard - failed

using the stock file commander
- copying files from internal memory to external sdcard - ok
- deleting files from ext sdcard inside phone - ok
- copying or moving files within external sdcard - ok

That is at least good as the XZU and Samsung comes built in with their own file explorer app BUT not HTC ( NO default built in file explorer app) ..at least Sony and Samsung had addressed this limitation with their own app
*
and i noticed that the stock file commander app have become a system app this time. it cannot be uninstall (without root access)
on previous fw (4.2 and 4.3), this file commander is just a normal apps which can be easily uninstall.

maybe now copying/moving/deleting files in sdcard need to have root access?

I prefer the notifications and quick settings back in one tab

more effort to switch tab

You can swipe the status bar with 2 fingers to directly open the quick settings
