this has been discussed long ago.. XZU detects water as "touch".. for example, if a water drops on an icon on your screen, it will be able to click it. this is the weird stuff about XZU..
*
Not XZU only, in fact all Capacitive touch screens smile.gif

Just that water resistant Xperia phones are smart enough to sense that the phone is submerged under water and disables the touch screen

Check the video there, the screen is not washed out. I think no company use such screen except Sony.

This year Sony seems learn (cannot sure yet) as Z1 Compact is not a TN/VA panel, it looks as perfect as Z Ultra.

Saw. IPS screens are much better than TN indeed.

PVA is the least I can go. Anything TN, no thank you. Well as for my laptop, I didn't have a choice sweat.gif

Hmm, makes total sense. Don't typical Japanese use phone of their respective variants from their carriers?

Hi XZU users, i tried finding the garage sales for a casing for XZU that shows caller ID and to answer call without flipping the case. But could not find.

Any users here using this type of casing? where to buy eh? planning to buy 1 for my mum. icon_idea.gif

Those planning to switch to HTC One make sure you get those manufactured after Nov 2013 or the latest Gold model to avoid the camera purplish n pinkish tint issues. This is advise from official thread. You can identify the manufactured date from the serial number. Checkup the official thread for more info.
The purple tint might not showup when new but will eventually crop up over time especially when phone is just slightly warm up.

Thanks for the heads up
