Accidentally bump into qx10 while window shopping at Sony center and bought it on impulse.. A bit regret..

Need to try try a bit first
Because previously read some bad reviews.
Need to test it out myself first.
The most common is the wifi connection is laggy. When move around too fast display can't really catch up.

Will update here once I played with it.
It's still in the box now. Hehe

Thinking of either getting QX10 or or a Sony camera priced around RM 699
The model is a Cybershot WX80 model, the price is the same, but dunno which to get, either the lens or the camera.

A quick review for qx10.

Once Tap NFC
- camera instant on.
- Play memories mobile took approx 12 secs till u see the viewfinder.
Takes pics almost instantly after u tap the shutter button on phone.
Takes about 8secs to transfer photo to phone.

The lag is not always there, it happened occasionally when moving the cam or zooming.

When it's smooth, and it's really smooth.

When it's lagging, it's fully zoom but on your phone its still slowly zooming in.. Like stutter.

But it's not that bad till it passes me off.

This quick review is based on first try/play.
Will update when I spend more time playing it.

*NO the bundled clip is not compatible with xzu.

For RM699 QX10, I think it is worth paying the price if you do a lot of online posting. Might not be as snappy as normal point & shoot.

I'm considering QX100 or NEX-5TL which both are PlayMemories compatible. Very likely I will go for NEX-5TL which is good for point & shoot as well as instant online posting.

All & all it depends on our budget

I'm yet to try it out. With PlayMemories & NFC (and perhaps wifi) should be able to transfer photo directly to XZU.

No receipt as bought second hand.
My concern is how want to send warranty at service center without warranty card..

Of course with lighting it will perform better.

Been playing with qx10 connected to my xzu or tz.
I gotta say its a pretty good camera, its a perfect match for phablet or tablet without flash..haha.
Its more convenient for indoor use for now since no clipping accessories available for xzu or tz. And dont expect to catch a fast moment with this,it takes longer than u starting ur default camera app on smartphone.
