For experience gaining purposes, it's ok if you get any oil and gas company as long as you're on field (working on oil platforms). The frequent you went for offshore, the better opportunities you'll get other oil and gas companies. If you're below 30, it's better for you to work as a contractor so that when you're reaching 35 to settle down, you've already a lot of working experiences for you to get into the management's side....
