Normally they'll ask u to update once u passed the interview....but, that should be a good sign tho. Because there r thousands of people who filled up the online form ( i believe he ask u to update the petronasdiscover profile) and u've been asked to update urs. huhu...

they dont have time to flip and put aside or hold. maybe they r interested in ur current (last update) cv and would like to know more about what u've done in between.

if u digest the whole thread - the golden rule (mcm Shell pulak) is to have patience and do not put too high hopes.....if it's urs, it's urs.

do you mind sharing how did you apply for the post? through the discover website?

when you applied, did you wait when there is an opening of your field in the website or you just applied and release your profile to their recruiter without any specific job application?

1. Salary will be based on your experience. But now since you'll be changing your job scope, i'm not really sure. But if you have less than 1 year of working experience, you'll probably will be offered fresh grad salary.

2. Possible, need to nego with your recruiter. best advise just agree with the date set, because if you ask to reschedule, it will take some time for them to arrange with the panels of interviewers.

Did HR call to tell you the result? I had my SI last Friday, still anxiously waiting for any email or call from them.

Are you a petronas scholar? Were you interviewed for a specific position? Probably they don't have available position at the moment.

Man, right now it's really tough to even get a job. Sigh..

Ah I see. Just finished medical checkup and waiting for their offer letter. Idk the way the PET ppl talked bout their new GHSE programme sounds promising, with 6 months office-based and then deported to plant depending on your choice and availability. Was hoping for a slightly higher pay but oh well, rm4k sounds good too.

I won't call it fast until I receive my offer letter. Haha.

Has anyone received their offer letter recently for new hire? I'm quite worry as the oil price keeps getting below $50 atm, and it's gonna affect the hiring of downstream business as well.
