I went to an interview with Petronas right after Raya last year for a job with PCSB project group or something. The hiring manager wanted to hire me, we already talked and agree about salary on the first interview. But he also mentioned that the final approval lies with his boss, "Harap angin dia lepas raya ni ok" was his exact words.
days goes by but no call from HR, so I call to follow up, the HR lady say mine is KIV.
Probably they found cheaper candidates I don't know, but I will never give up sending my CVs. Sometime you don't get a job, sometimes you get an offer but not good enough to make you switch, this is normal. Never give up is my motto and my advice to others looking to get into OnG.
I am now with a OnG MNC, have been in IT for 9 years. I am still waiting the chance to work with Petronas.
