It is good for you to build your portfolio for the next 2-years.
In term of benefits, almost the same as permanent staff except the EPF contribution from company the % is lower than for the permanent staff, there’s no dental & spectacles benefit, there’s no increment throughout your CDH period but there’ll be adjustment once converted to permanent, btw your medical cover your spouse and children, and you will have 20 days annual leaves per service contract, bonus/other monetary benefit base on company discretion so don’t expect much on that.
For conversion of CDH to permanent staff there are such scenario, some being converted at the early stage of their contractual term, some towards the end and some they’ll need to re-CDH and being assigned to other business unit. Discontinue CDH, I don’t think I have heard that before. It’s merely the same as government servant concept, you’ll be on contract basis before being permanent and entitled for pension scheme etc.
At early stage once you are onboard you are going to hear some of the same batch as yours are being hired as permanent staff, I am not sure why so or how they define the vacancy that differentiate between permanent box / CDH box.
Generally, I would say - anxiety on the very first few months if you are coming from a permanent position in your current company 😅. But along the way, the team are not prejudice towards you at all, embrace your new journey.
Hi thank you for the reply 😭
Meaning cdh is normal thing there? And being converted to permanent is no big deal??
Im worried because im a potato, get this iv by luck and passed it also by luck. Im afraid there is no more luck for me to use on the absorption to permanent ☹️

And do u mind. What is the difference in terms of other benefits between permanent staff and cdh?
