Same with me bro, after 1 month got a call says recommended. i think we are dealing with the same person. its been a month since she says that i got recommended. email, text and call got no replies. I opened the petronas job portal last week and theres a lot of vacancies for sabahan and now there are none. My friends in SBA is saying that theres a lot of new faces coming in. May i know they offered you what position?

I also got interviewed for operation. But they told me at the end of the interview that the position is just what the HR thinks you are suitable at. At the end it depends on whether the hiring manager are interested on you.

Hopefully we both can get in together. hahahha.

Was asking around and they said that most of the position are filled by newly graduated petronas scholars.

We are having the same phase.

It just mean that u are recommended by the interviewer for the job. The approval is from the hiring manager (the one who requested for that position to be filled). It depends on them whether they want you or not.

Consider this the final stage of the application.

If the hiring manager do not need you at this time, your profile will be put on priority for 2 years should they are looking for candidate any other time.

if they still didnt call you after 2 years, you will have to undergo the interview again.

it has been 5 months since the HR told me i passed the CBI. Almost lose hope. But looking at you getting your offer letter after so long is making me hopeful again. Hahahaha.

My best advice is wait for the medical. It wouldnt take long. I understand the excitement coz ive been there, but try to only talk to ur boss after u got the medical. You are only considered accepted after the hr received your medical.

Try to nego for your notice to be reduced. One of the guy i met here even paid Rm 4400 just to leave his previous company.

So best is, wait for medical, then beg to your boss to consider your notice to be reduced.
