Hi all,

First of all, thanks to everyone who posted so much info on Petronas. This was the place where I always refer to before attending interviews with Petronas. And alhamdulillah i've received the offer letter from Petronas (Technology and Engineering).

Am in the midst of negotiating the salary with the HR (of course you can't negotiate the benefit), appreciate if experts here can help. Am not sure whether this has been asked previously, but can someone let me know what would be the salary range for someone who has 5 years of experience? I've been offered grade G02, most probably will be dealing with non-technical stuff and from discussions with HR, they told me typically the salary increase that they usually offer to new staff would be in the range of 15-17%. I find it difficult to accept that fact, so hopefully you guys can assist me.

Thanking you in advance!

Hi.

I just want to know when the HR will start the salary and package negotiation with you? After medical check up or?

I have passed through my TA and SI. When I called HR for the next step, he said that he need to send to management for approval first before start to issue me letter for medical check up. After medical check up only they will issue me offer letter...

But we haven't talk about any salary or package yet. Things like whether is permanent or contract position...

Hope you can shed some lights on me...

Cheers!

And for those who has done the medical check up for Petronas, can you tell me what kind of medical tests they will conduct? Any X-ray?

I am currently pregnant. Wondering whether I can complete the medical check up. I am just worry that they will wait for me to deliver then only allow me for medical check up.
