Yes, hardware issue, if you have tried many vibrate app still cannot then you really need send back to service center.
*
Before send back might want to factory reset to check, backup > factory reset > ok then restore backup if ko then send sc

help sad.gif

I want update this phone. I have fully downloaded the update. But it cannot installed.

It says " assert failed: apply_patch_check.....

I have made change to youtube.apk in system. So how to restore this? sad.gif
*
Mod the updater.script in path of the file : /META-INF/com/google/android/
Don't extract ROM edit in 7zip using notepad
Delete all assert getprop.then save file
Save first googleota someplace else before edit
don't blame if u burn your house with edit

7zip.org. It's the only way to open *.7z file, I think.
*
I meant the flashable zip or .7z. Where did you download and what kind of flashable zip

TiBackup -> No problem. I have learned to flash P780 ROM by paying RM140 LoL and 14 days of learning. So that I can flash Vibe ROM. And then finally 2 days ago I got a successful flash. icon_rolleyes.gif It looks damn awesome and better compared to stock ROM, even better than Touchwiz and Sense UI.
Actually the Vibe ROM is based on China P780 firmware. The signal reception for DiGi is very good though. Although the GPS is takes some time to lock. And the ROM does not include Gapps, must flash it manually. whistling.gif
*
Hmmm....actually I don't care much of the awesomeness.the stock s123 pretty much good for me.but I will try it.
And for pedanggila I would like to try your v6 script without doing it myself.if you don't care can you upload your current v6 nandroid backup MINUS YOUR OWN DATA here for us to try it. Is it fully 100% v6

Backup > flash stock ROM > upgrade OTA to S123 > root > restore backup.
*
Actually doesn't need to flash back stock ROM.download first and install .let see what is the error msg.

hi, not sure if this has been asked before, my phone has already been repartition using p780-life-v02-reparted-data-aroma-zip, now internal storage is only 5mb.

if i were to upgrade my rom to s123 from an old rom, s115, will there be any problem since i already repartition ? do i still need to do the repartition again after the installing the new s123 ROM
*
Repartition stays, root will be unroot, twrp cwm recovery change to stock, baseband & version changed and a few apps including a bit of auto brightness changed

*
How do they diagnosed-by a software or prying open the phones and examine the ips lcd........diy it is time to test several roms.
For hardware is it the whole lcd or just the digitizer.if digitizer problem it is not that exp.......around 20usd if u can get it

Its obviously better cuz it has better specs, larger screen, 1.3Ghz quadcore compared to P780's 1.2Ghz quadcore.

So it really boils down to what ur looking for in a phone? Worry free battery consumption or larger screen with faster proc?
*
1.2ghz--5in,1.3ghz--6in real life the same, benchmark yes
930 better cam and faster gpu mali400 against sgx544
Battery 3000mah----6in,4000mah---5in
930 planned upgrade to kitkat.....not a problem with 780 i think
930 ----245ppi ,780----294ppi
780---usb otg , 930 stereo with dolby
I ve try same spec like 930 but i feel 780 more responsive...maybe just me

talk about charging... batteries these days can easily last more than 3 years.. my first generation Ipad was still doing well despite my kid charging according to his own like.. besides, by the time our battery kong, I think new models already on our mind... with smart phone evolving fast and technology shooting like a rocket for phones, taking care of batteries does not seems relevant at times.. LOL

Yes you are right and one thing very well known about Apple is its battery but other manufacturers are also following the same
