TiBackup -> No problem. I have learned to flash P780 ROM by paying RM140 LoL and 14 days of learning. So that I can flash Vibe ROM. And then finally 2 days ago I got a successful flash. It looks damn awesome and better compared to stock ROM, even better than Touchwiz and Sense UI.
Actually the Vibe ROM is based on China P780 firmware. The signal reception for DiGi is very good though. Although the GPS is takes some time to lock. And the ROM does not include Gapps, must flash it manually.

Backup > flash stock ROM > upgrade OTA to S123 > root > restore backup.

hi, not sure if this has been asked before, my phone has already been repartition using p780-life-v02-reparted-data-aroma-zip, now internal storage is only 5mb.

if i were to upgrade my rom to s123 from an old rom, s115, will there be any problem since i already repartition ? do i still need to do the repartition again after the installing the new s123 ROM

Its obviously better cuz it has better specs, larger screen, 1.3Ghz quadcore compared to P780's 1.2Ghz quadcore.

So it really boils down to what ur looking for in a phone? Worry free battery consumption or larger screen with faster proc?

talk about charging... batteries these days can easily last more than 3 years.. my first generation Ipad was still doing well despite my kid charging according to his own like.. besides, by the time our battery kong, I think new models already on our mind... with smart phone evolving fast and technology shooting like a rocket for phones, taking care of batteries does not seems relevant at times.. LOL
