Since you are using tripod....u should use aperture priority with F8.0 to produce the star effect on the light source

nop,i not using tripod. actually i sitting on a car 1. for 2nd pic,the car is moving on a roundabout so i just do a quick snap and i dun hv time to do any setting as well.

for the 1st pic,the car is stop at the traffic light for a while,so i just manage to do some setting and the pic is more focus if compare to the 2nd pic.

thx for the info,i'll try to do some star effect next.... notworthy.gif

Sony is out of my budget at 1st..Cuz forumer say RM1900+..
and im choosing btw Fz-7 and Canon S3 SI..

Then came to shop and found Sony H5 is now RM1600 with extended 3 yrs warranty, bundle with battery and charger.. Just memory card is much expensive..

Can post H5 photo in this thread ga? sweat.gif

Here it goes...
Taken with 'Night Scene' mode and without any manual tuning cuz dunno how to tune..haha.. Bought the H5 @ 6pm and drive to genting directly to start taking photo..

(All photo resized from 7MP to 800x600 resolution; no additional photoshop works on them; Seating position @ Arena of Star PS3)

Try increasing the shutter speed and use the flash for a normal shot. This normally happens to me when I'm using the zoom 3.0X and above
