the layer is actually 2-ton epoxy, spread over first aid cotton gauze makes a strong grip to hold the polymer onto the plastic tube. I did use sand paper to smoothen out the uneven surface of epoxy.
i saw flat black spray can, but did not know how its colour look like, so end up buying the usual black.

QUOTE(tongyam @ May 27 2007, 01:02 PM) epoxy, what is that and where i can get it? flat black( non reflection black) its a "Araldite 2 part epoxy adhesive", one white tube , one red tube. mix content from 2 tube in equal proportion and the mixture will harden in minutes, fully cure in 24 hours. you can get other brand instead of Araldite.

perhaps you can try to activate continuous focus to track your object. Not sure Mega OIS will help in this case or not

FYI: people with FZ7 or FZ8 who wanna use the conversion lens but can't do so because the adapter is not avaliable in malaysia can now find it at the camera shop 3rd floor of KLCC. The adapter cost RM180. With this adapter you can at last atached the wideangle and tele lens. Last time I check 3 unit left.

hello,
I am a user of Panasonic Lumix FZ3 for several years. Now I think I want to get new Lumix since my old one not that in good shape anymore. I went to Bintang Maju yesterday and they offer me RM1400 for FZ7+2GB and RM1600 for FZ8....the different that I can see is the megapixel. Any recommendation between FZ7 and FZ8? I was told that 6 megapixel is good enough. Some say why pay more for extra megapixel that is not necessary...
Please share your ideas. I have been an avid Lumix user and I still want to use it since I already familiar with the system.
TQ.
