Morning everyone...

Do anyone knows where can I buy the lens adapter for fz7? I've been hunting high and low. It seems non of the shops in KL stock it.

the lens adaptor not suppose to come wif the camera when 1st brought?

The adapter (52mm) that comes with the fz7 is a hood adapter only. I use that to fit my 52mm Hoya polarizer. If you need to attached a panasonic wide angle lens, it wont fit. I've tried to fix a 52mm wide angle lens from other brand and there is distortion. I need the original lens adapter from Panasonic. For fz30 and fz50 they do not need this adapter.

althought i dunno which lens adaptor u are talking about but i think u can just place ur order to any shop out there..they will help u order 1. but be prepare the price will be

i think it is a step up adaptor...from 52mm to 55mm. u go to the shop ask for step up ring, than try the step up ring with the pana wide conversion lens and see the result. some shop got stock 1,and price oso very cheap only.

normally third party conversion lens will have distortion..and is abit serious unless u buy those expensive 1 like the raynox which had low distortion. i think if u get the original panny accessories should be less distortion. check b4 buy...

I haven't got the wide angle lens yet but the asking price is RM520 at LYP. Forgot the name of the shop but the nice guy tried my fz7 on a third party adapter and there is distortion at the edge. He says shops dont usally bring in the ori adapter cause profit margin is low. And yes, it a step up adaptor.

ya...step up adaptor u can easy find a third party 1...the step up adaptor no need buy ori 1,buy third party 1 is good enough...the important thing is the conversion lens that cause distortion.

i don think ill spend that much money for that men !!

Wide angle lens is RM520. Yes it cost a bom but compare to DSLR lens, it's cheap. I've ask my friend to get me the adapter from NY, USA.

I forgot the name of the shop at LYP, but it is on the G floor near the center area. They wear red colour uniform. As for the lens adapter, my friend work for MAS, so he can get for me in NY or anywere. I think it will cost around RM100.

conversion lens + lens adaptor rm 620.... is kinda costy for me...

take this rm620 top up and change to FZ50 or FZ30 will be better i think. now 2nd hand FZ30 only sell rm1400 only..
