I'm currently learning what my band wants to play next :
RHCP - Dani California, Otherside
Fall Out Boy - Dance, Dance
Weezer - Perfect Situation, Island on The Sun
Queen & David Bowie - Under Pressure

Having a hard time learning Pat Metheny's James, only managed to learn the first few bars. sad.gif

Well, my dad DID offer to buy me the Camo Les Paul in US when I tired it out...... But I turned it down...... saving the cash for the half-stack..... hahahahaha............

I MIGHT have to go with the AVT150w.... but like I said..... will head down to Bentley and try a bunch of 'em first to see how it sounds. I hear the new Ibanez All Tube Half Stack sounds pretty awsome as well.... and the Peavey Triple XXX...... Wow...... That is an AWSOME amp.

peavey XXX FTW!!!

Hey man, did you manage to watch Buddy Guy??? biggrin.gif
Not enough Crunch????  rclxub.gif Have you heard of Van Halen's modern tone? lol... thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif Plus, I doubt the JCM800 has enough crunch for you too, unless with that ZW pedal. wink.gif

i missed buddy guy and robert cray because i moved to wellington for uni and it was held at AUckland...f***11!!! even paid a deposit for it, but was refunded soon after.

eric clapton is also coming to nz. tickets sold out in 2 days...
missed that one too sad.gif

blacktrix> the xxx is quite similar to the 5150... awesome crunch and clean hi-gain tone....
marshalls are quite overated imo...
maybe try to get ceriatone to build you a high gain plexi

i bet it wouldve been so much diff if someone told you its a korean made prs body... or a korean made jem body...lol
everyone is biased in some way...

imo its all about the assembling of the gat and the fine tuning that matters....
so i guess it wouldnt really make a huge difference
the bodies are machine-made anyway (useless you go for the "custom" US made bodies...LOL)

did you drop by the famous livehouses in LA?
you might come across the next-super-rock-band and be able to brag about seeing them live when they were nobodys laugh.gif

ive installed ZW boomers on my gat before... have to get new trem springs and retune the innotation...
its really great for pinch harms and powerchords but i must say.... the wounded G is one tough b*tch to handle... bending the G is like 10 times harder
it would probably be ok to install ZW boomers on a LP but to all trem users.... STAY AWAY...lol
installing new trem springs.... readjusting the truss rod... etc

currently using 10-52s.... will probably stick with this one for my rg
