Went to Taiwan last week:

Saw new Vios taxi. Must be a cheapskate, cos most of the taxis were Camry and Corolla.

Anyone come across Inspira original silver rear bumper, please let me know. Or if you're getting rid of yours.

Experienced people, I need some help regarding the interior panels. Is Inspira interior same as JDM?

I need the centre pillar upper trim. Part number 7211A179HA, according to the Inspira Price List. When I get a sample it is in grey colour. JDM has light grey and light beige only. The light grey one, same as Inspira part number is a lot darker. Image below.

Is the Inspira part number wrong? or is that the actual colour?

I shared with you about my case, during last radio problem when I visit SC, the technician told me that currently many original part from Protong come in with different color even part code everything same, that make them suffer when installing new interior part for customer. They need to reorder from HQ regarding the exact color... so if you car still under warranty please ask them get the same part color for you.

So the parts are locally manufactured? I'm, trying to order from Japanparts.com.

^ Biggest mistake you've made.

Someone here said that to me when I got mine, and it turned out to be true.

My dashboard has finally stopped creaking.
Spent my afternoon wrapping every clip with tape and sealant, now its so tight and no noise at all even when you press it.

Did not take photos.

Here's what I did.

Take out trim. Remove all white clips from trim. Add silicone sealant at the trim brackets and fix the clips back after sealant slightly drying. Then leave it overnight to dry. Next day put a layer of 3M double sided tape on top of the white clips, without peeling off the red plastic. I left the red thing on so that it'll be easier to slide in when fixing back the trim.

It was very tight and difficult to fit back because of the thick tape. You might face difficulty later if you plan to remove the trim again and risk breaking it.

K3 posted somewhere that he just removed the clips, added foam tape, and then put back the clips. You may want to try this method instead. I added another extra layer because I was afraid there will still be noise and didn't want to open up everything again later.

Be careful when other cars are reversing near yours. People rely too much on reverse sensors.

A blue Honda City reversed and hit my car, like in the picture below. I guess the sensors could not sense that the corner of the bumper is about to hit an object. The idiot just sped off after hitting my car.

Took a look and saw that there was no damage to my car. Metal still in shape, paint nothing wrong. I think it was the City's bumper that pressed against my front fender/bumper, and the fender edge is a bit flexible too. All these helped I guess, and luckily the fool reversed really slowly. Beware of WPQ 4122!

One of the reasons why I hate modern cars with all the electronic crap. Makes the driver lazy and ignorant.

Lent my car to someone a few months ago and that person ruined my rear bumper. Apparently our reverse sensor has a bit of a delay in sensing.

End of my rant.
