Just took back lala from SC "again" about 1 week this afternoon. Dashboard area sound they said fixed "something" behind the aircon. Eventually they dismantle whole dashboard and center area. 
Suspension area they add so called Mitsubishi damper(if I spell correctly) white color one to all 4 spring area.
the moral of the story, if you got time then only get lala; if your lala can park at SC for long time then get lala...

year Dec, 2011. I go complaint suspension got sound, so they add the white damper for me haha. Actually the sound not from suspension I yet to figure out...

oh... so much thing to do oh... this lala really make me know more about car now really... after bought this lala, keep surf this forum to gain info for it...

since day 1 found out lala especially cvt pickup damn slow compare to all other cars...

prefer to keep original paint for as long as possible haha

yes and no la. because ori factory paint, they typically whole chassis/panel dunk in paint or having robotic arm sprays, then lastly baking/vacuum conditions around/over 100 celsius where no one outside will do as they need to remove every trim/rubber/glass etc as those will crack/melt under extreme heat/pressure.

to summarize, original paint will last the most. stone chip etc also mostly will just attack the clear coat (assuming proton skim out on clear coat quality) however the base coat should still remain in tact and doing spot touch up/repairs is actually easier, cheaper than a full respray later on.
most conti cars do spend more on clear coat which does explains why their car still can remain longer in pristine conditions despite typically driving faster and more frequently on highways.

ps: having detailing as hobby you get to know additional knowledge in car painting/conditions

and yes for my nissan sentra, it's pretty much what i said, kena chip pun kena until base coat.
eventually mom resprayed whole car, because she kena accident and both side doors got accident/scratches etc. need some putty/touch up also.

in the end the paint job will never match up to ori because of reasons stated before. kena stone chip, chip until terus the old sanded base paint or even bare metal/putty depending on which part kena.
