To all my brothers n sisters, I received the quit rent bill from DBKL today n the amount is rm8000!!!! Anyone received this? Whats the formula for the calculation?

Heard from SA only level 2 units are used for the mall. So total 6 levels of mall. Anyway can verify that?

Leisure mall used to be quite shady, after changed of management it's much better, also renovated n having prominent brands as tenants. Now weekends is very crowded.

Ekocheras being near to leisure mall is a plus point.

I am always skeptical about mixed development, residential that has more than a few retail units (kindergarten, laundry service, convenient shop, cafe, hair salon). If not well managed they usually ended up spoiling the whole environment, they are either not tenanted or having businesses that you don't want to be there.

So what kind of businesses that we owner of Ekocheras do not want to see there? Perhaps we can compile a list and present to the management.

It's indeed wave after wave of good news for owners of ekocheras.

Just wondering, does any taikor here knows how much assessment would it be for ekocheras based on the revised assessment rate?

How much Are we going to spend on assessment n quit rent per year ?

How much rental we need to set to get positive cash flow?

Assuming my unit is rm500k n monthly installment is rm2k.

I believe the property market will slow down for the next 2-4 years and it will pick up again.

Ya.. that's what i thought. But anyway it will be linked to MRT and Leisure Mall also link to MRT, so indirectly they are linked as well.
