QUOTE(keane04 @ Sep 5 2015, 11:45 PM) Most retailers will stay out. Dunt know what to say. Retail is not good now and especially in Setia alam. If u buying envisaging a scene vibrant retail and nice crowd. Better stay outRegardless what, if SCM not doing good, this one will be even worse. BTW Giza is a failed project. QUOTE(keane04 @ Sep 11 2015, 05:15 PM) Commercial investment at this area no go at this moment. U got thousand owners ready to slash price to get tenants or sales. Unless u being offered super low price or more than 15% discount. Big big risk |

I wonder how the business owner there survive. I am a retail business owner in SCM
Not really good business as like what Babizz say "spending power". People here won't spent here as they prefer spend in KL or PJ. Need time on adjust their mindset n spending habits. Of course I wish people there spend but it's a challenge haha |

I guess these people mostly will have their meals and do some light shopping near their working place. Yeah office not that near but thats not the main problem. I have few neighbors and fw friends who open business here on different level also having some comment People staying nearby SCM will visit the mall during weekends. Another one is the management didnt do enough event or marketing inside the mall to bring people to come in. If they build the convention hall inside the mall at the highest floor, there will b more spending in the mall. But instead so call systematic planning, convention hall is outside and need to walk a distance to the mall. This in fact not really a great plan. Actually the mall itself alot ppl window shopping just if you look at spending habits is another problem. People come for aircond and not really shopping alot. But same batch of customer going to KL/PJ they spend more. Thats the problem of consumer here. |

I have few neighbors and fw friends who open business here on different level also having some comment one key problem is the relatively below average spending power in setia alam bdr bukit raja n d surrounding area.. can u comment on how klang parade is doing?Actually the mall itself alot ppl window shopping just if you look at spending habits is another problem. People come for aircond and not really shopping alot. But same batch of customer going to KL/PJ they spend more. Thats the problem of consumer here. I have always noted tht a hidden problem here is due to the lack of flyover into the central shah alam area aka sek 1-14 with very high spending power.. this crowd+bukit jelutong form the primary n highest spending catchment in empire subang as mentioned by their senior leasing member.. |
