Though most of the time on WiFi but again, this is really a good achievement.
Now recharging again after I went out and dropped 13% because of the bad signal.
3% left now.

QUOTE(ionStorm @ Nov 9 2013, 05:40 PM) Taobao stuff is cheap. Bought tonnes of things from there.Almost every month will buy something from there. QUOTE(jobfree2u @ Nov 9 2013, 05:54 PM) Quantity. They buy in bulk and sell, other smaller shops are not able to do it.Samsung shops need to sell at RRP. |

QUOTE(Superman7 @ Nov 9 2013, 05:59 PM) Need to be smart in purchasing, not simply click and buy. Every time I buy something, I will do a lot of research first. Sometimes, seller B is selling more expensive than seller A but after research shows seller B is better, I will still buy from seller B. After all, it is still cheaper than in Malaysia. QUOTE(KKW @ Nov 9 2013, 06:07 PM) Buy from Taobao's sister site - TMall, the sellers there are quite reputable and won't simply sell fake items. QUOTE(Superman7 @ Nov 9 2013, 06:09 PM) I know, that part is the disadvantage. |

Yeah, most of the time, the shops are not willing to do it. They wanna reduce the chances of screwing up during installation.
I haven't tried glass SP myself, last time only used plastic SP but after started using Liquid Armor on my Note II, never turned back for any screen protector. Next time must try. |

Termites control people are at home now, I have nowhere to go so nothing much to do, went and explored if there's any new icon packs in Play Store. Found this Umbra icons. $1.97, not too bad.

QUOTE(Superman7 @ Nov 10 2013, 12:43 PM) My house in hometown is really bad when it comes to signal reception, even Celcom and U Mobile as well. Surprisingly Maxis fares the best here. Not too sure, have to check in Play Store. Worse comes to worst, refund. |

But is it fun to use parents' money? I used very minimal of my parents' money when I was in university. It just happened to be during my foundation year, my parents closed down their restaurant and retired.
How to ask? Used PTPTN money until I cannot survive anymore, called my sister to bank in RM 200-RM 250 for me to eat. Those were the days. |

QUOTE(destEX @ Nov 10 2013, 06:56 PM) huhui rather not depend on parents if possible, learn how to survive, i never asked money from parents, just depend solely on scholarship money, only when i go back for sem break they will push 1k into my hands. in return on my final year, they got me a car, paid downpayment and only have to pay the back the loan when i started work 1 year later. Your parents are being nice. I won't ask and I don't feel good to ask.its fun to see your money increase in your bank account Even my car, I paid myself everything. For my house next year, I'm also paying myself. Anyway, I don't really agree students to spend so much on gadgets unless they earn those money themselves (part time job) or anything. |

QUOTE(antt00 @ Nov 11 2013, 05:45 PM) I would say you have luck on your side uncle. There are people who had been denied warranty. One of them is fruitie. But her case one service center rejected her note 2 cos counter more than 1 but another service center repaired it. Hence why i said Samsung Malaysia lack knowledge especially something as new as knox. It depends on the person servicing you. Correction here.Touchwood i had not visited samsung service center in a long time and hope never to have to go there. I managed to claim my warranty is because I flashed back to stock ROM when I managed to boot my phone though IMEI was corrupted. I didn't dare to go back to LYP SC because they rejected mine once and honestly I don't like their service, so I went back to Pandan Indah SC to fix my phone. Luckily my IMEI wasn't blacklisted when sent in to LYP SC. So, in short I have not tried sending my rooted phone to claim warranty that goes successfully. |

I'm holding DiGi Ambassador Plan and it gives me 50% discount for RM 68 data plan, validity is for one year.
Without me noticing it is already expired on mine. Since I'll be out from country soon, I asked DiGi to terminate my Internet plan with immediate effect. Don't want to pay RM 68 for nothing. So, now my Note 3 is without any data plan. Feel so handicapped. |

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Nov 12 2013, 03:39 PM) For those who still unfamiliar about MobileOdin Pro (MOP)..here the steps when updating your rooted stock phone with new stock firmware. Been so long since I last used MOP.- download the new stock firmware from Sammobile.com. - put the zip files in internal or external sdcard. - open MOP and press 'open files' in partitions section. - select your new firmware zip files. - MOP will ask whether you want to extract the zip files. - let MOP extract the zip files into .tar.md5 files. - once extraction finish..press 'open files' again. - select your new .tar.md5 files and MOP will auto fill all the necessary partitions. - make sure your Everroot section are ticked (all should already ticked by default) to preserve your root..superSU..MOP. - flash the new firmware. - MOP will ask whether you want to check the .tar.md5 files. - let MOP check the .tar.md5 files and proceed the flashing. - the phone will auto reboot after finished flashing. Good reminder to refresh my memory, so it is that easy ya to upgrade to MJ7? |
