The only reason that will make me flashing AOSP based custom rom is only if there's dual boot kernel.

How to replace the S-pen tip

Any of you experience slow data speed with celcom on note 3?
My wife and I using celcom P148 and while I got at least 7mbps on my Z1, my wife stalls around 3mbps only.

Reason being? Do elaborate more.

G2 seems like a good idea. Good price too.

G2 lacks an expandable memory, plus my prior experience with LG phones, no matter how new they are, they do not have resale value. For an example my previous LG Optimus G, got it at $798 at launch around CNY period. Sold it 6 months later, $350. Plus, the amount of people looking for used LG devices are around 1/8th of the people looking for used iPhones.

I think it is good to mention the resale value of 2 other phones, iPhone 4 and Note 2. A 3 year old iPhone 4 32GB can fetch at least $250, typically $300 and higher for newer ones. While a year old Note 2 is still able to fetch around $500.

Not a fan of WP and my previous Lumia 800 had a very bad battery life(imagine an S3 with 100% wakelocks) and limited amount of apps to be installed. Again, resale value is low despite a high price when buying new ($568 on contract) due to lack of demand for it.

I guess the two suitable candidates are Note 3 or 5s. I'm confident that I still can fetch $700 after a year of using for the 5s by then I can get the latest Samsung device with minimal top up ($700 x 2.55 = RM1785) assuming the next Note costs RM2399 at launch.

Mine is bought on launch day and since last week got a few hangs that need to open up back to pull out battery to solve.
Camera app hangs : open up camera app sometimes black screen n hangs . Sometimes OK. If black screen it freezes and all button pushed also no use. Need to pull battery out & restart. Happen 3 times.
Phone app hangs while dialing . Cannot disConnect . If other party pickup then can talk but afterward cannot hang up. Pullout battery also. Happened 1 time.
If try to access Contacts in Phone app. Did switch to Contacts App but blank page then freeze.happened once.
Never reboot by itself but always need to take out battery to resolve.

my neo hybrid arrive earlier then expected... i still thought end of this month... after using this...i think i will prefer otter box commuter , can pair with my ip5.

If u dont need the S-pen , go for it . If u do , sad to say , S-Pen makes other pen input look like a joke . But I find it much smoother and faster then XZU input , something like the old Symbian series and Windows 6 days

IPS screen and Super AMOLED HD screen, which one good or which one do u prefer?

2TB ? i think after 3 years also dono got 2TB sdcard or not... it will be a burden for the cpu to indexing 2tb data inside a phone.

but spec to spec...really a note3 killer.

WACOM digitizer makes a big difference

Ya, that depends on developer. Hope more developer utilize it in future. At least they is something better did by Samsung now, previously it is too stupid as only few stock apps can notified.
