After the update I have huge battery consumption on Mediaserver

I need viber a lot for my work. Before the latest update there is no huge battery drain in mediaserver. Is ok if on idle, but during calls it drains significantly. Those day 30min talk drain about 3% now 15min talk drain me 10%

Root and flashing custom rom are 2 different things.

Root give you the super user access, just like the full admin right in pc. There are ways of rooting the device without tripping the knox and keeping your warranty safe. So after root, you can disable any system apps, gain right to access the system files or apps, mod and custom your devices.

Flashing custom ROM will trip the knox counter and theoretically void your warranty. Whether service center will honor your warranty or not depends on which SC you send in. Uncle Benny is the first reported case where he sent his rooted and Knox 0x1 Note 3 to service center and successfully claim his warranty on his faulty usb port

No need to remove Wanam and Xposed. If you are rooted on MJ1 with knox 0x0, just flash using MOP method. You will be updated to MJ7 with current bootloder + root retained

I have asked before this and according to what is being told, the 150mb is on top of your existing data limit and is meant for Spotify. They said if you use Spotify to stream music they will cap the data usage using the 150mb first and if it is fully utilize then it will use your existing data plan limit

No wonder. Any firmware later than MJ3 will have the new bootloader which will trip the knox counter if you root your device. The reason why we try to use MOP to flash to MJ7 from MJ1 is because MOP doesn't flash the bootloader and we can still have the old bootloader which won't trip the knox counter.

But one good thing is you are completely restriction free and can flash anything anyway you like

I'm afraid there is no way to downgrade your bootloader. waveweaver had tried to flash back to MJ1 and encountered many issues. Furthermore there is no way to reset the knox counter as of now.

Regarding sending to SC for warranty claim, well it very much depends on your luck. Uncle Benny has successfully claim warranty with his rooted and knox tripped Note 3
