BTW I don't see you in the owners' list. Please add yourself via the form in post 4.

If you are following option 2, why don't you try MOP since you're already rooted?

If you already have root when on MJ1...much easier if you update firmware via MobileOdin Pro app.

yeah..got cache files..but i don't know how to extract cache files only from the full firmware..

Am reflash MK1 once again now..see how it goes.

ohh..ya..the csc reside inside cache files it it..?
maybe i can flash the cache files via MOP  hmm.gif
*
Yes cache file is the csc. You just need to open up the tar.md5 file with program like winrar and extract it.

Probably cos you did not do the full step. Did you re-tar.md5 everything excluding aboot or did u only just flash the URDLV tar.md5. If you are unsure of the steps its best you use MOP method.

He can't use the MOP method as he is currently in MJ6. I believe he runs into some error during the extraction process

So far I didn't notice any forumer here is selling the UAG case. You can always purchase from their website. I purchased mine and waiting for it to arrive. We have one forumer here resided in Australia who had received his UAG casing. Hopefully mine can reach here faster

He never mentioned he is on MJ6. Got meh... hmm.gif

If he really is on MJ6 then there is no way to root le without tripping knox. Might as well use cf and tripped it anyway.

Wifi issues means he is probably missing the modem and/or kernel files. Which is why i suspect he did not flash all the necessary files.

He spoken to me before via PM and that's why I asked him to follow your flashing method. So I believe maybe he run into some error during the extracting or repacking of the tar file

LOL, he didn't tell me about that. If that's the case no point to flash using URDLV and go through all the hassle doh.gif Can just flash using any method and use CFRoot

Click menu button at app drawer and choose disable/uninstall and later pick Google Play Music to disable it.

* I can't remember can disable by default for Google Play Music or not as I already root and disable by Titanium Backup.
*

Well I believe the misunderstanding start when he first asked me "how to root note 3" and then he mentioned "he got problem using flashing method 2".

If that's the case since he have custom recovery and planning to flash custom ROM, just redownlaod the full ROM again and check the MD5, then reflash it again to solve the issue.
