Any1 here manage to enable keyboard symbols using wanam? Mine enabled d in wanam but the keyboard remain unchanged.
*
Wanam doesn't work. Go to playstore and download Note 2 Hidden Setting. This will enable the sub symbol in your keyboard plus some other features like camera shutter sound, SMS schedule and others. We got users reported that it works.

Mine doesn't work when I was in MJ1 but it works after I updated to MJ7. Weird rclxub.gif

Guys.

I'm confused a bit.

I'm on stock bmj1 without any root.

Now since kingoapp is not available to root. So how can i root on mj1.

I plan to used mop once rooted so that can update to UK rom and root together.

I'm on mc today. So plan to try this.

Thanks.
*
You may try VRoot where it has been stated that it won't trip knox. Or to be safest way, use RDLV method where most of us here were using last month

Yes depending on cable and power draw. You probably need to supply power separately to the hdd.

How's your phone running now bro? Everything smooth? Any significant different that you can observed?

Can you show us a screenshot? It is very rare that Android will get affect by virus. And which website you are trying to access?

For those who still unfamiliar about MobileOdin Pro (MOP)..here the steps when updating your rooted stock phone with new stock firmware.

- download the new stock firmware from Sammobile.com.
- put the zip files in internal or external sdcard.
- open MOP and press 'open files' in partitions section.
- select your new firmware zip files.
- MOP will ask whether you want to extract the zip files.
- let MOP extract the zip files into .tar.md5 files.

- once extraction finish..press 'open files' again.
- select your new .tar.md5 files and MOP will auto fill all the necessary partitions.
- make sure your Everroot section are ticked (all should already ticked by default) to preserve your root..superSU..MOP.
- flash the new firmware.
- the phone will auto reboot after finished flashing.
*
Oh, never know MOP can extract the zip file directly. I extracted via pc and transfer the tar.md5 manually tongue.gif

ahh.. see you all update to MJ7 I also itchy...

currently still on MJ1 rooted via Root La Vega

no one going for Custom ROM/Kernel?
*
There are not many custom kernel available as of now, we have only faux kernel and lean kernel. Read some users reported that the kernel is not that stable and cause issues to camera.

It is the same to custom ROM where the choices are very limited. With Xposed and Wanam, you can customize your own ROM without flashing additional custom ROM

Yes, you can flash the firmware using MOP and retain the root. I did that yesterday and knox counter is still 0x0

How to mobile Odin as I no root yet.

To root need urdlv and rdlv.

To urdlv i need the firmware. So better I flash m7 directly.

That's what I understand so far.

Is my understanding is correct?
*
Without root access you won't be able run MOP. Is better you use urdlv method to root your MJ1 firmware first as you are still in the old bootloader.

you may refer to antt00 method in running urdlv in page 1. After that you should have root access and then you can use MOP to flash MJ7 and retaining your root

Check my previous post #1259..I've put the link for modified MJ1 and de la Vega files for easy rooting.
After rooting you can use MobileOdin to update new firmware.

joytest  maybe you can pin the link for the modified MJ1 firmware and the de la Vega files so that new user can root their MJ1 phone easily. Tomorrow I add another link for the OLB CSC also..now my Note3 kaput edi...lolz
*
thumbup.gif nice bro..goof for those who wanted to start rooting now.

Dropbox can be really slow and if connection is not that good then even worst. Those files are easily mmore than 1gb tongue.gif

But at least we have some alternative. Not sure why designgear remove his old files hmm.gif

since this is patched version of mj1 for udlvr, so i just need to use the pc odin and flash it, then root using rdlvr.

so i can skip udlvr?

correct?
*
1. Flash the patched MJ1 firmware using pc odin.

2. After the 1st successful reboot, copy the 2 rooting files (1 file & 1 folder) into the root of the internal SD, then reboot

3. After the 2nd reboot, delete the 2 files you copied just now in step 2 then reboot

4. Your rom should be rooted. You can download root checker from playstore to check it

hahaha, the urdlvr is for creating patched version.

the rldvr is for rooting after flash the patched version rom ..

i also confused, thats why i decided to go for mj7 directly.

why wasting to reflash same rom mj1.

hahaha, anyway, since this is patched version, i can use mobile odin once i managed to root my phone.

tq again ...
*
If you flash straight to MJ7 without patching the firmware you will end up with a new bootloader which will trip the knox when you root your device.

Reason to flash the patched MJ1 firmware 1st is to help you to get root access and at the same time retain your old bootloader. So once you have root, then you can flash using MOP

Why don't you arrange a mini tt session for rooting. Each charge them 5 bucks sure got good biz tongue.gif
