Any one can teach me to use those cables with only 1 conductor? It's called IC cable but why only 1 conductor? Mono?

my future plan was recabling my MS1i but i've found a more fun alternative!!!! Saw this guy doing it on headfi and was planning to make my ms1i with detachable cables using RCA

things for me to consider

1. Single side entry
2. RCA or Mono 3.5mm
3. Will the extra parts behind the driver affect the sound quality?

haha need to make that also for my bravo amp since the 3.5mm socket is busted but future planning to fix it.

Where can I get good quality jacks? My previous jacks died on me in days.

i bought from IC electronics, suddenly all of them could not detect right channel even after i resolder new wires...have to jiggle them around till got sound and it got annoying.

not even neutrik it looks like some generic jack but cost about RM3 each. I've never had any problems when soldering cables before i even changed the cables a few times...not gonna buy jacks from ther anymore...anyone know where i can get strain relief's?

also if i purchase straight for marketek l4e6s chipping is like rm300 zZz sad though...60m of cable for RM300+ until shipping kicked me in the balls.

Finally....finished making my RCA-mini interconnect and recabled my MS1i with the cable I previously used with my superlux and made a Y-split cable which works(though not pretty and probably not going to post it)!!!!

Hmm sommer cables good for making IC's? thinking of making a new stereo mini to mini for my speakers so a low cost good cable would be nice.

so it's dual core? shield as ground? 100m is how much?

also looking for some good cables prolly around RM8 and below per meter for making IC,mini-mini,mini-rca
