eh u guys... no need be so tough on the sbd feller la...

he has every right to say what he said AND to say it how he said it. the feller waited so long without any word of course la he toolan. if it were me oso id probably be cursing PcWork ma.

its the nature of busines... whatever reason PcWork is doing the cable thingy oso...in the end its still a business. he should have at least gave sbd some form of communication at least. simple courtesy message oso ok ma. but total silence even i wont accept.

anyway...i suggest everyone just shut up and butt out of this issue and let PcWork handle it with sbd himself coz it definitely none of our business.

ive always thought that the Canare cables were NEVER meant to be high-grade cables. IMHO theyre just best bang for buck cables. meaning cheap and good. best upgrade to normal cables without spending hundreds and hundreds of RM.

and theyre also for normal people like us who has thin wallets..

ijan's wallet very thick so different story la... icon_idea.gif

Canare @ RM10??? which one??

the L-4E6S i usually buy around RM7 and L-2T2S is around RM9. (prices per metre @ IC Electronics)

and this is not asking for discount....

Wow, thanks for you guys valuable input! Cos those cables are pre-braid before reach my hand, will contact further with friend, hoping to bring in this so that our DIY fellow could get something different instead of good old canare smile.gif
*
imho...cable identification isnt a problem honestly...most people who has a soldering iron or do DIY cables usually have a multimeter....so that could be used to identify which is which....

Yalor.. I saw the guide online..
I bought the L2T (cant remember, stereo with 1 ground cable) and some neutrik which is very straight forward.
Just this one dunno how to handle, cos the guy in IC Electronic say better use one cable on each side which I personally fell very bulky,
Anyway, if I want to use only one cable for both L and R, I just have to choose one color for grounding and another one for signal rite?
And if I wanted seperate cable, I just bind two same color together, one for grounding and one for signal rite?

Jazzy,

How I should explain le. Not good with explanation.
Stereo is R and L ma. But the shop owner recommend use 1 cable for each side but got 4 strand of wire inside each.
So was thinking if I can use one single cable to get twin rca cable. I also wasnt sure if twisting a pair together to get 1 ground and 1 signal is a good idea.
*
ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

so wat u wan is basically 2xRCA -> 2xRCA is it???

then what u do...take the l-4e6s...inside got 4 wires... seperate the wires...make 2 pairs of white+blue. take the blue and use as ground for each rca plug. and take the white as signal for each rca plug. do the same for the other end of the cable....then u have what u want biggrin.gif

basically samething as pic below in the yellow box.... then do the same for the other end of the cable..

i use the cheap ass solder....

ive never seen a solder as a connection...to me a connection should be the wire touching the plug... the solder is used to keep it that way so the thing doesnt move around tongue.gif

i've just made one for mikelanding smile.gif

anyway, i'm going to pasar road soon. going to make cables some friends. so, anyone want to hop into the cables list since i see quite a lot people looking for DIY cables these days? PM me then

cool....thanks for the info guys....

think ill just get the canare...easier tongue.gif

but since i only want 1 meter.. i think i buy from 1 Utama la...price definitely gonna be much more expensive....but at least i dont have to waste my time going through the traffic jam and finding parking just for 1 meter of cable biggrin.gif
