how about digi ?
xox broadband, celcom broadband, tunetalk broadband all using the same celcom line.
i think one reason is telco sector antenna point down not point up to cover high building.
*
i go down stair mamak also suffering speed last time, dono now got better or not... but above 15 floors almost gg , last time i stay top floor 25th floor cry.gif

Sign up for the Postpaid broadband 88 one 21GB ... say only 88... when bill come RM176...
*
the correct first bill should be 2 months access fee which is 176
then your first payment RM 150 when u register , which RM 50 is for paying that advance

so your balance should be RM 176- 50 +RM 10 stamp duty - pro rated discount (example u subscribe on 15/12, then it will be 14/31 * 88 ) - RM10 rebate

remember paying bill with me got discount oh, actually subscribe with me also got discount brows.gif

doesn't make sense for 1 year validity from umobile, umobile mainly target Umi subscribers, minimum RM 20 for umi18 so validity should not be a problem.

you might go for FRIENDI if you are asking for long term validity as it is mvno from umobile, and any sms / call extend its validity for 30 days.

Sori dun understand...
Tunetalk also got call n data pakej together but they can implement 1 yr validity
*
hmm, let see like this, there is no perfect telco, only most suitable 1

for FREE long term validity = Tron, XOX mnp, Friendi
for cheapest data = Umobile, Friendi,
for most valuable long time call rate = Celcom (RM0.28/ 10min)
for most valuable short time call rate (to all telco) = onexox, clixster ....
free international roaming = digi ,hotlink ...
4g service = digi hotlink celcom altel umobile (very limited area)
.....

every decision related to their profit, stupid decision only make themselves never improve.
not telling tunetalk is not good but very bad marketing strategy to make us less promoting their products and giving less support to customers, so u can see their market share is relatively low.

Tunetalk is playing IDD ots since very long time ago and tone excel direct sales as well, not mainly targeting on the monthly data plan subscribers.

U mobile trying to solve the problems like their CS, their difficulties on the network, expanding their 3g coverage as well, always provide a most affordable and flexible internet plan.

what they improved lately:
1. better customer service
2. free data roaming for prepaid @ some countries
3. free credits on member gets member

of course below questions will never be solved until further movement.
1. no transfer credit
2. no long term validity (in fact umobile provide 2* validity for normal top up compare to other telco which is costly too)
3. no free activation of IDD and International roaming for loyal postpaid customers like maxis
4. good 3g coverage out from town....

compare to u50 , u28 higher call rate,
compare to umi28, u28 no free call, only lots free sms

i need some advice,
my umi28 plan was not auto renewed last night even though i had sufficient credit, so with data on till morning my credit got burned. just spoke to call center they refuse to do anything even though they acknowledged i had enough credit for auto renewal.

what can I do to get my credit back ???
*
always recommended to RE-subscribe the UMI28 before expired rather than wait for AUTO renew, thats exactly same as auto renew (brought balance freebies forward) I can't trust some convenience that might bring me problems without solution, try to be careful next time. cool2.gif

a UMI28 user here. Usually once my free minutes are used up. I use Hangout to place calls. 0.03 Canadian dollar / min, roughly equivalent to 9-10 sen / min. you'll need internet connection, but still a lot cheaper than PAYU. calling Malaysia landline is only 0.02 CAD.

and using hangout to call overseas' numbers is cheaper than using the traditional IDD. calling china is only 0.01 CAD(around 0.03 RM / min).
another tip, pay in Canadian Dollar instead of USD because CAD's currency is cheaper than USD, and they dont fluctuate as much.

Hangout is cheaper than Viber for most places.

I'm using prepaid. didn't owe any bills sad.gif

I need this to get my PAC for banks..oh damn,...
*
for prepaid user, http://www.u.com.my/international-roaming/...nternet-roaming

umobile is not gonna auto roaming @ Switzerland, so no matter how u try you just can't connect any network over there. For postpaid users, u might get your International Roaming by Paying RM 300 Idd and Roaming deposit to activate it, good news for postpaid user who more than 6 months, u just need to call them to activate without paying any deposit. cool2.gif

Whattt... they remove UMI28 prepaid... ????  shocking.gif
mad.gif  vmad.gif
*
try checking their UMI30

only extra RM 2 u get extra RM500mb with 20mins free call deducted
20mins worth RM0.2/min = RM 4, so which means u pay extra RM 6 for 500mb, this fulfill most users that demand more data > calls. cool2.gif
