haizz. nevermind tonight check again got free call or not.

*
but if your *118*6*3*1# show

no free calls currently. top-up and get free calls now.

means u enjoy no free call because you had passed the top up free credit day ?

example, u top up 30, u got 60 active validity but only 30 days free call 1 hour
so 31st to 60th day got no free call blush.gif

i just get the U mobile prepaid as my secondary sim for data connection but my signal there is showing 'R' and not able to get internet.any one cn advice here.
*
Are u using a dual sim phone ?

if yes try take out both sim, then only put in the sim that u need for DATA, put at SIM 1, and search network for 3g, if 3g not appear that means your area not under 3g coverage. Possibilities that you failed to get 3g with your dual sim phone as below :

1. u put it @ sim 2 slot
2. the priority for 3g setting on another sim
3. your area not under 3g

the final test put at another 3g phone with single sim only to test whether got 3g

Sorry if got others ask this before
I am now using maxis broadband with huawei m5220 , not sure the modem name but it is same with umobile one.
If I put umoblie sim card into it, is this possible to use?
*
QUOTE(kae7 @ Jan 2 2015, 08:35 AM)
if it is locked, you cannot use it unless you unlock the modem.

Usually Maxis modem will be in LOCKED mode. You need to unlock to use it with other sim
*
e5220 should be easy to unlocked cool2.gif

QUOTE(plychenkoi @ Jan 4 2015, 02:47 AM)
Sorry if someone ask this before, did umobile throttle speed at off-peak hours? I got decent speed at 2am (400-600kbps at downloads) but right after 2:30am, my internet speed drop to 40kbps to 70kbps. I'm sure my off-peak quota have not finish. Anyone have this problem now? I'm on postpaid MB88 btw.
*
the official answer returned by them is under maintenance ....

QUOTE(fat16 @ Jan 4 2015, 08:27 AM)
it just me or umobile under maxis network downgrade trottle speed after finish quota  up tu 2KBPS (big B) ?
during happy hours you tube speed back to normal 1.5mbps but you tube only.
*
official throttle speed is 64kbps = 8 kBps, you are getting 2kBps for E right ? or H?

QUOTE(zzzxtreme @ Jan 5 2015, 11:22 AM)
my prepaid MB68 internet expires today. As usual I will topup RM70. RM68 for 5GB is pretty good deal, won't you say? or is there better alternative from other telcos ?
*
if you don't mind to change sim card monthly , i got cheaper offer for this 5gb cool2.gif

H boss.
how come streaming youtube 480p with E ?
*
if E then don't expect much la, when only 2g available as my point of view only whatsapp or wechat available, other thing give up, E is different from 3g finished quota. What i hate umobile the most is its coverage out of town really sucks till max, but when its 3g on then it's a very competitive telco

try to port from digi to umobile but was told to split from principal and supp line into individual before port into umbile... is it true???... bcs it is very troublesome for me
*
first, this trouble happen because the telco want your life harder to port out, so may still stay with them after few failure of trial.

u got few options

1. port both principal and supp to umobile together
2. convert your supp into single prepaid or single postpaid, then u may convert either of them to umobile
3. give up, stay with digi

fyi, porting to umobile with me entitled special discount

So use umobile 1gb (RM 18) -> MNP to Digi (free) -> use digi 1GB (RM18)?

Will these prepaid plan give slow speed compare to LTE mifi plan??
*
to be clarify, umobile 1gb is RM 28 official plan
with free 50 mins to all and 30 sms to all which worth RM 9~12

and I am not sure if digi 1gb would disappear after fail of renew of its package ? any1 able to confirm that ?

if you are not under 4g coverage, there would not be any difference in terms of speed
for 4g area, with LTE device of mifi you can reach 3mbps ~ 60++ mbps area dependent.

3g speed then always 2~3mbps with H+ , probably faster during non peak hour

QUOTE(zamnrul @ Jan 7 2015, 03:57 AM)
Now digi mnp already finish give shit quota not 1gb but rm18 for 300 mb only effection 2015...go to umobile better ..dg super slow regret c1m convert to dg mnp
*
confirmed ? because i couldn't find the official link for that plan now blink.gif

Hello, I am currently in Taman Cahaya 'flats' I was loaned a U mobile sim card. they say I am on some plan (UMI response) but wont tell me what plan. On top of which I use the hotspot, pretty fast until I reach a time/MB limit then it completely cuts off. Any help would be nice and U mobile support really sucks.
*
if you are with a DATA plan like UMI then once you hit the quota you will only get 64kbps speed, so probably you need to get a higher quota plan with me brows.gif to enjoy fast speed internet, or continue to suffer with 64kbps till the plan expired

postpaid 128 is 10gb peak + 20gb (2am-8am)
prepaid 128 is 20gb whole day

When you say peak you mean i can only use those 10gb at 2am to 8am? Or it was meant for whole day usage?

If that was the case isn't that 20gb prepaid was better option? ?
*
QUOTE(lot101 @ Jan 9 2015, 01:33 PM)
2am to 8 am ? Madness
*
please note that is THE 20GB 2am-8am

ONLY 10gb is whole day

thats why it is called 10+20gb , not 30gb, very misleading term

while prepaid is only called 20gb
