It's not clear on their website at all, they just wanna hide the important truth of internet surfing/data usage, SPEED. 250MB but what's the minimum download speed? 64kbps? Hotlink provides 64kbps without 250MB limit. Both require you to top up RM30 per month(or hotlink just need to stay active, i.e: RM5 - 5 days)
So why isn't hotlink better? I'm considering which to switch to..
i don't think that they wanna hide the important truth, maybe just lack of details there. So why isn't hotlink better? I'm considering which to switch to..
u may enjoy 1 month data with UMI18 for 250mb high speed data (1.5mbps), Umi28 or above is TOP SPEED
the top up RM 30 is extra free 30mb high speed data and also 250 mb if u are mnp from other telco. Not necessary to be better than Hotlink but just another good option, lets make a comparision:
let say you mnp to hotlink / umobile then top up 30
1. hotlink got 30 days active validity, 30 credits to call, free 30 days 64kbps data, umobile got 60 days active validity, 30 credits to call, free 250mb high speed data.
2. call rate : hotlink i m not that familiar, umobile 0.2/min to all telco, 0.6/min to umobile
if the call rate is not important then just leave it
3. with the balance RM 30, u may go for RM 30 1gb high speed data from hotlink, or RM 28 1gb data and 50mins free call from umobile.

hey guys,
Usually to check my broadband data usage, I will send an SMS DATA2 to 28118 from the MIFI device.
Then after the bill come, I noticed they charge me for every SMS I sent to 28118.
Is there any other way for me to check my broadband usage without charges?
Thank you.
