Anyone staying in Puchong Jaya and get U Mobile 4G coverage?

I have just applied a package yesterday for RM 68 a month with RM 150 Huawei Mifi E5372.

I have checked the 4G coverage area and my location by right should be covered. But then the MIFI device only shows 3G connection..

U Mobile printed big big on the flyer and say it is 4G MIFI.

The Link also shows that it is a 4G device right?

Ya, I get the additional LTE 4g device instead of the 3G MIFI.
I am able to get 4G after set it to 4G connection as preferred connection. and it is only 1 bar or 0 bar of signal strength..... never expect it to be that bad....

it is auto, but got terms. such as 2am to 10am only, and daily quota also.

btw, i notice umobile speed drop recently, mayb due to this promotion.

thinking to change to u-mobile from maxis (broadband), I'm paying rm68 after rm20 rebate for 20gb(sucky 5gb 8am-2am, 15gb 2am-8am).

maybe my sentence is not that good. 

that is for my current subscription with maxis broadband, not mobile one, the one with black modem.

You mean use Mifi then plug another USB Wifi dongle on my desktop?
That is my last resort if I can't a find a USB-connection enabled Mifi with decent price, because wireless connection on desktop is always unstable, at least for me.

Hope anyone that have the ZTE MF65 from uMobile can help to test and see..

Is it normal to have max1 mbps in UMI prepaid?I speedtest at different place also the same.

My area is in TTDI. the speed is only around at best 300- 400 Kbps ....

My signal bar is only 1-2 bar ....

UMI 28 also.. but UMI 28 with better quota

UMI 38 and UMI 48 will get 4G speed

For real hassle-free, there are merchants which will do reload for you on lelong. Even CNY Garage here does that. They only accept bank transfer, but got some discount. Best I've found so far is 8%.

Petrol berapa? =p Tesco pun boleh. But most who have this CC will sure already max RM100 a month, so effectively you're eating into your cashback from other category (for me, utilities).

I think you misunderstood me, is that even though you get 10% cashback from reload, the fact that you have to drive there means you spent petrol + time which will eat into the 10%. Let's say you reload RM100, got back RM10. Parking RM2? Means become 8% di.

Location at keponggg. Used to be fast and very good. I always set it to 3G network only. Is it because of too many people using Umobile already then the line become not as stable as last time?

Normally highway consider got line or not? hahaha. Im not so sure about this so i asked. Waze always lost connection or connection timed out. damn scary sometimes .

I have registered to umobile postpaid and my account hs been barred for a few months. The status of the account is registration failed. I ask the worker at ts branch she said my number has no service anymore. So the unpaid balance is it i still have to pay it? Is it already terminated?

RM76 can get RM115 top up

Buy u mobile topup RM100 from Tesco using your cashback credit card (Maybank AMEX 5% for me)
RM100 - 5% = RM95

Tesco having promo RM30 top up = 1 pack maggi 5 bag

RM95 - 3 x RM3 = RM86

Tesco having promo of RM100 purchase get RM10 tesco voucher

RM86 - RM10 = RM76

Combo it with top up bonus 15% volla...

They never go like "Prepaid u mobile now have roaming!". Last time is only for Singapore.
They didn't even say properly now how to activate the roaming.

That's why I am asking here.
It's not for the unlimited internet roaming. It's more of being able to receive call and sms from overseas. Imagine you want to do online banking and need TAC or if get credit card usage SMS notification overseas.

Umobile Sifi, please help me....

I am a prepaid user. I use to data roam in Singapore @ rm0.3/mb and rm0.55/min on voice calls.  Now with the introduction of FREE Data Roaming, it seems that I have to pay a lot more... :-(

The free data roaming is free 50mb, after which rm7.5/mb will be charged (capped at rm30/day).  If my data usage is 60mb, I will be charged rm30/day instead of rm18 under the old rate (rm0.3 x 60mb = rm18).  This is an increase of rm12 per day which is very expensive.

Moreover, top up rm50 only get 30 days of free roaming of 50mb/day.  If I subscribe UMI28, every month I will have balance of rm22 (if 5 mths = rm110 balance).  It doesn't make sense for me to keep on topping up rm50 a month for this purpose lah...

Is there a better way?  If not, then I guess I would have to look elsewhere... sadz
