Coverage -- what do you know?

So here and there I read that umobile subs off maxis? Is that true?

So to say, where maxis is avail, umobile is also?
Also, can move all 3 numbers from another provider?

What if something not satisfactory? Is there a contract that I'm bound to? Say no coverage or what in my area.
*
may check coverage here https://www.u.com.my/coverage

or buy a RM 8 from 7-11 to test

umobile 2gb sub from MAXIS

but 3g is at umobile own tower

so together u enjoy 2 network, but with UMOBILE 3g available area, u won't be able to access maxis 3g while ur umobile 3g network is weak at ur area, for example KLANG VALLEY, u either get umobile 3g or maxis2g with umobile network, different from melaka that might enjoy umobile 3g and maxis 3g at different area

yup can move MAXIMUM 3 lines together to umobile

no contract, just port out or terminate anytime u like cool2.gif

QUOTE(azrash @ Aug 10 2014, 01:04 PM)
depends on how much data you use per month. My dad is on tunetalk's RM2/week 100MB. good enough for whatsapp and Waze that he uses daily. he normally has 40-50 MB left at the end of the week. call rate is cheaper than UMobile too.
can consider tunetalk too if you are low data user. as tunetalk is very cheap for calls and it uses Celcom's network. if you know your rough usage per month. you can do some rough costing.

my parents are on tunetalk because they call more instead of using data. they saved around roughly RM400/year per line by switching out from the previous celcom postpaid

my sister and I are on umobile since we are data heavy user.

always a smart user nod.gif

*
can as long as u are not getting expired status which not allow for active call out.

QUOTE(wheiliang @ Aug 26 2014, 11:57 AM)
I'm interested on U50 postpaid, may I know how reliable is the 3g network compare to digi and maxis in klang valley? I don't need the speed, but I need it to be consistent
*
1. ask ur neighbours who using umobile
2. get a prepaid from 7-11 RM 8, test the signal siok siok ( no 1 can guarantee for any telco that suit you perfectly, so test it)
3. maybe some1 here who live nearby you can answer u this question, which location u always stay with ?

overall @ klang valley umobile similar to hotlink and slightly better than digi, but still depends the coverage cool2.gif

u mbile only manage to get E ... in house and outside of the house... how come in advertisement the speed is so sky high ?
*
That only means your area is not under good coverage of umobile, in fact 4g umobile area @ subang manage to get 60mbps, 3g manage to get 2-3m normally

So umobile is not an option for you as your area or your house can't get 3g or maybe your setting problem??

Actually nowadays digi hotlink Celcom, friendi altel all providing good data speed, just try which is more suitable for you
