CT800 got 3 HDMI port (one with ARC function). How many HDMI port you use at the end now?

I think 2 in 1 out
1 for astro, 1 for media player

now most of consumers using online streaming drama series (china) no longer use Astro. Astro must catch up in its technology otherwise it will lapse gradually from the market.

mostly use Bluetooth connections to Notebooks, Smartphone listening to muzic or wifi

haven't fix it yet, but coming from a CT790 user, I would say its adequate
don't expect too much from a 1.2k soundbar then its fine
can feel the sound effect coming at ur face, with rumbling bass, good enough

The best is to use 1 pair of good HIFI speakers with a nice power amp. You get hi fidelity sound that is so much better than any soundbar

hye. recently i bought Samsung 55 NU7400 4K smart tv.

the sound as expected from tv is so so only.

then i paired cheap edifier r1280db via optical. sound a lot better.
problem is, i cant make a good use of the smart remote from the tv. it cant control the speaker.

looking at Samsung Soundbar HW-K350 pretty cheap almost the same price of the edifier. how would it sound? any reviews? i just want a simple system that can be controlled with one remote.

looks fine. The soundbar will isolate the signal where audio will be processed and video (in some case audio also) will be pass to tv.
If u want to use the ARC function u need to identify which is the hdmi port that support ARC on your TV

Choosing between Sony CT800, Yamaha YAS-207 and Samsung HWN550/XM....
which will be the good choice and winner?

Not sure which to choose to pair with me Samsung 4K TV... need advise

I listened to both CT800 and YAS207 side by side at HN mid this year, went for YAS207 in the end. I’d suggest you go hear both yourself if possible tongue.gif
I did give a brief short impression month ago if you use the search function.

hi, i want opinion regarding upgrade. currently using samsung soundbar hwk551 with wireless rear speakers.

is yamaha yas 207 good upgrade?.i only stream iflix, utube, sometime downloaded movie which has dolby 5.1.

reason for upgrade, i dun think the surround effect is sufficient n dialogue is fade compare to music/sound effects. tq
